Not necessarily.

How many times does somebody have good stats and still played like shit. For example, somebody that gains over 400 yard in passing doesn't mean he played well, just means he was had good circumstances to gain those stats.

Many factors could give him good stats. Could of been the entire defense will playing the run most of the time?, or it was during garbage time.

Yea mannning was on point. He did not have a single incompletion in the 1st half. The first one in the 2nd half came on an INT that was Clark's fault.

Jesus. That's good.

I also read Jason Whitlock, who last week after Indy's win against Denver said Manning should not be MVP based on three INT's he threw.

Last night, he was praising Manning and he isn't the type of writer who changes allegiances every week so he must of been uber impressed with Manning.

Last week, one of those INT's Manning threw (or was it two) was not his fault. It got batted up and a LB picked it off.

I think the 65 yard winning TD pass to Reggie Wayne in the 4th quarter cemented how "good" Manning's game was. 😐

You did read the post right?

How did Manning play?

You answered with stats.

That's not what I asked. What I asked is how he played. The answer above is what I wanted to know about.

Have we not learned from LordEmo not to argue with a fanboy.

True.

And we can always count on Forumcrew to bring the class to the forums.

When he isn't correcting someone's grammar and spelling that is....

Anyways,

There is a chance tonight that the Cowboys win.

A: They should be more desperate.
B: If the run game is successful or not
C: Get enough pressure on Brees

That should do it!

You were reaching about what constituted a "good" game for Peyton.

And going by your own logic, a QB who went 15-35 and 1-2 (TD-INT) could've had a GREAT game based on some arbitrary judgment you have for his play.

Anyway, yeah, despite completing 80% of his passes (with no incompletions in the first half) and throwing a pivotal 65 yard game-winning TD pass to Wayne in the 4th qtr, Manning played like shit against Jacksonville.

I'm a fanboy for saying Manning had a good game?

Indeed, silly me.

Jesus ****ing christ.

I guess years and years of college football scouting shows that everybody gives a **** about stats when critiquing a player.

Anywhoo, I know Lord Evo, I found that funny too but I do think that Dallas CB's and secondary are not good enough to keep the score close enough for the running game to actually work. And considering half our defense was scouted/picked up to rush the passer I ****ing hope it happens.

****ing Cowboys.

****ing Cowboys is right.

I read TMQ alot and he was giving his picks before the season and when he came at the Cowboys, he talked that they failed in the past 3 years in draft picks. I think it was him.

Anywhoo, for a guy who constantly talks about how great non drafted free agents are great players (some are), I cannot believe he didn't do his research about any of the Cowboys drafts.

Spencer is turning into a fantastic player. For the past season, he has been constantly making plays and unfortunately didnt have the stats to back it up. Oh well, TMQ is turning into a repetitive writer.

I guess I should say, **** the Cowboys!

More appropriate.

Because that's totally the same as asking if a QB had a good singular game. Am I right?

Yes it is.

Asking if somebody did well in a game is different than asking for stats.

It's not the same at all.

But I digress...

In other news, Jay Cutler went 10-27 yesterday for 94 yards and 3 interceptions with no TDs. Despite all that, he had a FANTASTIC game though. 😂
