Browns won against the Saints today.

That's 3 straight years the Browns have beaten the defending Super Bowl champion:

2008 - Giants
2009 - Steelers
2010 - Saints

dont get too excited about that. This Saints team does not at all resemble the same team from last year. This years squad looks like a bunch of high schoolers. The Saints are losing to everybody these days even the woeful cardinals.they got to be like this by now. 😮

ah cool a fellow Chargers fan.Although you have a much better reason for being a fan of them than I am since you live in San Diego and i never have.yeah you and me both brother.I have given up hope on the chargers this year so I am going to root for the jets.Hope The jets with L.T. go to the superbowl.L.T.will have the last laugh on those idiots for letting him go.he should have been a Charger his whole career.

this is why I think the chargers are so bad this year.its the only theory that makes any sense.

on a side note,my chargers really suck this year.while true they always got off to a slow start but finished strong at the end of the year to make it to the playoffs since Turner has been here, something is missing this year. Those teams never stunk it up on the road like this years squad is doing.road games were nothing to them.

Im thinking that with the loss of L.T,Jackson, and other players the Chargers no longer have anymore, they got some new players such as mathews that have the mindset of getting scared when they play on the road.thats the only theory that makes any sense.why else is this team so vastly different and flat this year when playing on the road now.makes no sense unless thats the reason. If you cant even beat the LOS ANGELES Rams on the road, then you cant beat anybody.

well since my Chargers are going nowhere this year, might as well cheer on The Jets since I guess right now they are my second favorite team since they have L.T. would like to see another former Charger make it to the superbowl like Brees was able to last year.

chargers just blatantly s^ck this year

as much as it pains me to say it,sad but true.I've given up hope on them this year, they're done for.

Well Im at least in a better mood after watching Brett Favre have his usual meltdown and throw 3 costly interceptions for the vikings. 😆 💃 💃 that made my night. They will get their butts handed to them on a platter next week when they play the patriots and they will then be 2-5. 😆 💃 will be interesting to see what kind of reception Moss gets.

All will be right when Bush and Thomas return.

They'll catch fire soon and win a bunch of games but they are definitely not as good as last year.

Well, Dallas can't even win a turnover prone team game. Everybody can win those games.

Well, here's to a top 5 pick!!

Pathetic.

Which is this Sunday.

Should be a good game. Last two Super Bowl Champions.

Aaron Smith, the Steelers run-stopping DE and arguably the most valuable defensive player on the team, is out for the year. Saints getting their RB's back should bode well for them. Smith virtually eliminates all stretch run plays to the right side. Now with Nick Eason and Ziggy Hood in, the Saints will be able to turn stretch runs into 4 or 5 yard gains and runs up the middle into 4-yarders. Before RB's were lucky if they got 1 yard...now they will be able to get a couple extra yards per running attempt.

Lamarr Woodley is banged up as well. It should be noted that both Smith and Woodley man the left side. Look for the Saints to run right a lot Sunday night. Or....the Steelers might try to overcompensate the right side, which will open up the left side. Either way, the Saints should rush for at least 90 yards Sunday. With Smith and Woodley healthy, that number would be more like 50 or 60.

Or Sean Payton might continue on with his ignorance and hardly run the ball.

not anywhere close. It goes deeper than just missing Bush and Thomas.you got to be able to overcome just a couple injurys. They're like The Chargers are this year.somethings missing in their swagger.getting Bush back wont make a difference in that game against The Steelers. The Steelers have their mojo back. The Saints are scratching their heads just like the chargers are..they know it goes deeper than just Bush and Thomas being gone.

I don't know about that. The D is on the right track. The only thing missing is the offense. The biggest disappointment has been Drew Brees, who has seemingly given up more points than the defense the past few weeks. Getting Thomas and Bush back would be huge. More so Bush because of his impact on the passing, rushing and return game.

I don't know how much he's going to be able to do in his first game back though.

Doesn't matter, a win's a win. That's exactly what everyone was saying about the Steelers last year when we trounced them (on national television).

And exactly what everyone was saying about the Giants in 2008 when we trounced them (on national television).

The fact of the matter is: We trounced them. The Browns were the better team when the two teams took the field that particular Sunday.

On paper, those three teams should have killed us, but that, my friends is why they play the game, rather than just look at the teams on paper.

I'm proud of my Browns, and hopefully we'll turn the corner this year.

Steelers will allow the Saints to move at will between the 25's. They always do versus opponents with big play capability. Then they hold them to a field goal and match with a field goal or touchdown. So it's clearly up to the Saints to not screw up in the middle of the field. They will have to be patient.

That being said, I predict the Saints will go deep on one of the first few plays to soften up that underneath coverage. They really don't have to, though. The Steeler DB's play 10 yards off the ball between the 25's anyway.

Colts vs Texans, round two. Predictions?

Probably a lot closer.

Indy will probably win but they're beat up so I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans win.

I think Peyton is gonna torture them. 31-14, Colts.

My wife has requested the Raiders vs. Seahawks to be the game we watch at 4:00. She wants to check out the Raider fans dressed up on the actual Halloween date. I have no problem with that. After watching and thoroughly enjoying the entire Raiders vs. Broncos game last Sunday, I'll give the Raiders another week. And as an added bonus, I won't have to endure the media slobbering over Brett Favre, Randy Moss, or Tom Brady except during highlights.
