22 rec for 347 yards and 1 TD for the vikings last year is what koren did. I hate him because im a seattle fan, and he has possibly the worst hands of all time. He dropped soooo many damn passes for us it was such a joke. The vikings signed him as a kick returned he was barely able to get PT as a WR for them, and they dont have great ones. Towards the end of the year he did step it up a bit though. But at the probowl skills challenge in one of the obstacle course type drills he was the ONLY player to drop a pass durring the drill, which included kickers and defensive players.. so sad.

Ok.

nooooooo vikings offered Hutch seven years, at $49 million, and includes $16 million in guarantees seattle has 7 days to match it, but thats an insane contract for a guard only a couple tackles make more than that and they are always higher paid.

Edge signed with AZ which was fairly expected.

Redskins might have close to the best team in the league now that they signed Brandon Lloyd and Antwon Randle El giving them an absolutely SICK WR core. Also they will still get something out of a ramsey trade, although not much. They may also be getting Adam Archuletta

How can the Redskins afford all this?

They were severly over the cap.

i have no idea

Well before the new agreement, the redskins needed 20 million dollers to get under the cap.
So 13 million dollars to get under the cap.

Did they cut alot of guys or what?

I know Arrington, but there's gotta be more than that.

they must have the best financial people in the NFL or something, and must have restructured many contracts. They now added Archuleta today which makes it even crazier. Archuleta and Taylor both at Safety? OUCH time for opposing WR's

wow cant believe that Edgerin James signed with the Cards. There goes Peyton Mannings super bowl dreams. The colts losing james is like the Chiefs losing Larry Johnson. They would not be the same team without him.Neither will the colts.

i think you are over reacting some, Edge isnt actually that important to Indy. RB has proven to be a fairly replaceable position in the NFL. Also this has been expected for a long time so im not sure why you seem suprised by the move. Indy is a passing team first, good O-line, Great pass game opens up the run game. Larry Johnson is the chiefs right now, all though Priest will still be involved, because LJ isnt the best pass catchign back, and he cant block for shit. Edge wasnt even a top 3 part of the colts, hell barely a top 5 guy there, they will be ok without him. They may even get lucky enough to get Marroney.

I do agree that losing James is a big hit for them, but comparing it too Larry Johnson situation is ridiculous.
The teams are competely different.

Manning is better than Trent.
Harrison and Wayne are better than Kennison and Parker

The Colts are still going to be around. Manning is too good of a player. The defense will improve and James is a great RB, Polian has a knack for getting RB's. They might not be as dominate offensively like they were last year, but they will still be an top contender team.

I wouldnt be surpraised if they do better. Not every team has an eliteback. If I'm correct, the Pats won an superbowl with Faulk and Smith. Steelers won a superbowl with Parker and Bettis (in his prime, this would be competely different. What about the Packers, I'm pretty sure they won without an top 4 RB.

I'm not sure about the performance dropoffs, but the best way for your name to fade into obscurity quickly is spelled A-R-I-Z-O-N-A.

boldin, and fitzgerald sure got well known last season in AZ.

They started their careers there. I'm talking about Dexter Jackson and the 1,000 other VETERANS who have disappeared into the desert - literally!

We got the Edge!

Orale!

Congrats. You've got the offensive weapons, now all you need is an exterior line.

And badly, too.

My team is going to kick serious ass this year (Redskins)

yeah exactly. His signing with the cards tells me he is ONLY in it for the money now.James is clearly not like Jerome Bettis. The thing I always admired about Bettis was he was always one of those rare players who played the game for the love of the game instead of the love of the money. He could have left the steelers several times and gotten much more money somewhere else but thats not what he was about. He was about being loyal to the fans of the steelers and his teammates and put the team first.Money was never an issue with him.James instead of taking a huge paycut like Bettis did, only cares about the money now at this point so he went to where the money was.Reminds me of Neil O'donnel when he was with the steelers. The next year after they went to the superbowl and faced the cowboys in that game,he went and signed with the new york jets who in the same year the steelers went to the superbowl, only one one game that year.Like O'donnel was back then,James is clearly just playing the game for the money now.

Yeah it was expected.Im really not surprised by it.I just didnt think James would be stupid enough to go to THAT team. That he should have been able to take a paycut and finish out his career in Indy.True running back can be a replaceble postion.whoever thought Johnson would surpass Priest Holmes and be the featured back? not many.It CAN be a replaceable position if you make the right draft pick that is.But its really difficult to find a back like James out there than can do the things he can and replace him so easily.James unlike Johnson, can block and sure the pass sets up the run,but you just cant plug someone else in there easily and then expect them to be able to find the holes like James does. He's a difference maker and they miss him.and are you kidding? of course he was part of the top 3.James,Manning,Marvin Harrison were the big 3,the top threats in that offense.Manning wont so confident to call a running play now with James gone.He was a difference maker in that offense.the anoouncers were saying that if the colts wanted to go to the superbowl, this was their opportunity, that James may not be back next year and that they would have to rebuild and start all over without James.which they will.
