He died of leukemia. That's what makes him more amazing to me. He fought while sick. They even had a memorial tournament for him.

Of course he has lost lol.

He already beat Crocop when they fought in K-1.

r.i.p to andy hug.

Well I've been training in Kajukenbo for about 20 years now. FMA(Filipino Martial Arts) for about 10 years. Boxing and wrestling since I can remember.

Boxing, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing are three very solid styles. You can't go wrong with any of them. Cross training is the key. Wrestling/Jujitsu would be a great art to cross train in. As well as something that deals with weapons alot. Krabi Krabong(precursor to Muay Thai), FMA, or Silat.

Hand to hand, grappling and takedowns, and weapons training. Cross training in these 3 fields, you can't go wrong.

You trained for 20 yrs? Damn man. lol Are you going to compete? You should be able to do something after all that training.

Yes, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing are virtually peerless as far as striking goes. Judo, Wrestling(all kinds), Brazilian Juijutsu, and Japanese Pro Wrestling are at the head of grappling styles. I don't really know much about weapons though.

Yeah, I've been training since I was 5. I got forced into it by my father. Man my dad was really strict on me when I was growing up. But It turned out for the best.

I've competed in amateur boxing. I have a 7-1-1 record in amateur boxing. One of my wins was over a 1996 golden gloves champion. I did luck out in that fight. It should have been a draw, but the judges decided I won the fight just barely. I have also competed in amateur MMA fights back in Hawaii. 3-0 in MMA. 2 Submissions, and 1 KO. Due to my Kajukenbo background, I've competed in Karate tournaments as well. In those full contact point matches, where speed and accuracy is essential. I have also participated twice in a full contact stick fighting match when I attended a Dog Brothers training seminar in California and New Mexico. I will never participate in those kind of matches again. Crazy ass son's of b!tches those Dog Brothers. But I give them all my respect. They know what their doing and are real tough sob's.

I don't fight anymore since I do have 3 kids to care for. I did think about getting into the MMA game here in Nevada, but my wife hates it when I fight. I am still pondering the thought. If I ever do decide to fight again, I'll probably head down to Vegas and see what I can do there. I have friends who fight in the King Of Cage there. They keep on trying get me to step back into the ring there. If I trained real hard, I'd be ready to fight within a couple of months. I'm still trying to talk my wife into stepping back into the ring just a few more times.

Thanks guys, yeah i do traditional GoJu Ryu karate, so much fun.

adam, good post man, iv'e always had a respect for boxers cause i know how hard it is, my great uncle was a the irish champion for a few years back in the day.

I do hope you get to return to the ring, but it's great that your family is number 1 priority. Post if you ever take up a fight again.

I have to commend you on the weapons training too. It's rare that people actually do any real contact with weapons. The Dog Brothers are hardcore too.

Almost forgot about this. Some guy was talking trash concerning women fighters and their supposed inability to beat men regardless of the man's skill level.

He learned his lesson I hope.

The girl is Sunshine Fettkether. She is a Thai Fighter but she had some Taekwondo training in her past.

What makes the video worth it to me is that the jerk loses to HOOK KICKS!!!

Girl Power!

Bump. (watch the vid)
