This is just a style RE is famous for, no point in changing it now.
dino crisis 2.
I got pwned by African Dr. Salvador.
In all retrospect, maybe it wasn't the best idea to take some lunatic swinging a chainsaw just because I saw some guy on YouTube doing it in the game previous.
It turned out better than me with a knife vs giant Hellraiser-esque executioner armed with massive battle axe at least...the Hispanic chick with lovely cleavage 'revived' me no less than five times that fight. Just as in Resident Evil 4, they baptize you by fire right at the beginning of the game.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up in this thread, Has anyone watched the recent trailer ?theres a bit in it where Wesker says "We last met at the spencer estate" at Chris, I thought their last meeting was in the Antartic 😬
I kept getting killed by Dr. Salvador And Mr. Axe wielding executioner, I really don't like how you can't move when you're engaging in combat it's really annoying Dead Space uses a similar system and that allows you to move while shooting; turning you're weapons also feels clunky reminds me of the older Resident evil games where you had to turn 180 degrees just to run left.
On a final note sometimes It can be annoying when the camera closes in on you, most of the enemies group in the corner so it's difficult to see them and concentrate on them while another group are coming up behind you and in front of you.
Just dance around the Executioner.
He swings really slow, as soon as you see him start just run past his non-dominant handed side. Kind of like fighting Nemesis in RE3 as Jill.
However it does make it pretty hard when there's 4-5 of his lesser cronies in the room with him, which is where I got caught and Hispanic Boobies saved me - repeatedly.

Haven't played that.I suppose that would classify the dialogue in the preview as PIS then.
they added some content that wasn't in the dreamcast version. specifically, a fight between chris and wesker in the antarctic. wesker kicked his ass though, all his upgrades and so on...

The fact that you can't run and shoot is really stupid.

i don't mind not being able to run and shoot. it'd be a pain to shoot accurately while moving, and in resident evil, on some modes, every bullet counts...
I agree, I would like running and shooting and I know that accuracy should be impaired as well when doing so. Sometimes I have found that it would've helped to shoot while running.

it would add something, i agree, but i just think resident evil is suited better to stuff like not moving while shooting. that moment when a big guy weilding a chainsaw is bearing down on you, and you're thinking to yourself "do i run, or do i have time to get one more shot off?"
i think resident evil is better when it puts you in those positions, personally...

what i loved was the anti-tank rifle. i was so giddy. i was there thinking "f*ck you gonna do now mister allosaurus?"
