They are given that generalization because all stereotypical images fed through the media of a **** were pictured scantily clad, which means people will make that assumption first, whether it's right or not. Like seeing a man/woman in a business suit, we're going to think "business man/woman" we are NOT going to think, "Nah, that's not a business man/woman, they just like wearing a suit" It's a lot like the uniform anaolgy quote. If you don't want people to think your a **** don't dress like one.

In a nutshell: we are a society that went from sexually Repressive to sexually Progressive to sexually Obsessive. We think flaunting and "in your face" is hip and sophisticated. It isn't. I have just this moment returned home from a wet T-shirt competition, and I would say - in my current state - that less clothes = more brains. Yeah, I think I mean 'brains'...

I don't think it's just clothing that advertises sluttiness. The person's intentions and personality and what they do in a relationship and so on also comes into play.

I think the problem may be, that some girls definitely under-dress for the occasion for no other reason than getting the attention that scantily clad AND good-looking gets you. But this “uniform” also sends out certain signals. But if the mind-set and personality is that of a nun, small wonder some guys and girls get confused.
I guess the point I’m trying to make is, that I think guys and girls should dress as they act… or may be willing to act…
