I had another idea for TP Link's Final Smash
Spoiler:and the Final Smash would use his wolf form with Midna.
so at least he and Wind Waker Link would have different Final Smashes...they got lazy or something. Ness and Lucas, Link and WW Link, Fox and Falco and Wolf...they gotten lazy
The arena gets covered in twilight or something and Link becomes wolf Link and gets Midna on his back and he gets a location and does that quick attack jumpy thing he does when you want to defeat those twili things that have to be defeated basically at once.
Spoiler:
At least it would have been different then WW Link's. And why is Ganondorf still a clone!?

Wow, how highly disappointing 😬As far as the whole
OMG NEW CHARACTERS" thing goes so far.. it sucks. They got rid of old, good characters and replaced them with clones, and new people they threw in there have the same final smashes.. totally gay.

Those attacks seem.....too strong.
Though in my opinion, some of them are relatively weak and fairly useless.
Snakes Final Smash was pretty creative I gotta say. But I still hate the clones and I hate how final smashes were repeated as well...not cool. 😬
I'm going to come out and say it: these things still present in the game is a major disappointment. This wont be a "Mario Galaxy" not even close. Although the game will still be amazingly fun (if the online works properly) and will have long long lasting value. It wont be winning any 'Game of the Years' because it really doesn't deserve it. The Smash team was lazy, clones and repeating attacks are just unacceptable. Nintendo didn't drop the ball per say, but they didn't deliver either. Its basically a better, online version of Melee with some new characters in it that really mean nothing since half seem to be clones anyways. Is that bad? No. But its not what people wanted and expected on Nintendo's biggest current franchise. I expected it to be near flawless, with deep character movesets for each person. I didn't get that, and honestly its kinda disgusting that Nintendo just basically rehashed Melee. And all this is coming from a MAJOR Nintendo fan. Will I still buy it? Yes. Will I prolly send countless hours playing it? Yes. (especially if the online is good) but its just not up to snuff.

They had more than enough space to add significant stuff in the game, and yet they decide to waste it using it to incorporate advertising ploys (like the "masterpiece" demos and what not). Simply pathetic.
Considering how long the game has been in development and the fact that clones are still unchanged makes it look like Sakurai and the team were twiddling around all day playing Sudoku or something (or were just lazy). 😐
Mortal Kombat Armageddon for instance may have not lived up to all its hype either, but at least they included all the playable characters they said they would, which wasn't the case with Brawl.
40 to 50 characters? Ha ha.
It's also sad to see that Samus is the only one to be in Metroid's corner again. If Sakurai didn't want Ridley playable (which was obviously the case), I would've been happy if they at least included Dark Samus or some other Metroid character, but nope. Didn't do that either.
Metroid, a franchise that has been more successful lately and overall throughout its history and doesn't get a single additional rep on the playable roster when a less popular franchise like Earthbound and Donkey Kong does... irrationality at its best.
Even though I haven't played the game yet, it basically seems that the majority of development was spent on the addition of menial little features rather than the core of the game.

Mewtwo is the only one of possible merit that was dropped, and Lucario is half a clone of him anyway.

Brawl's far from the best Wii game like most thought it would be.
Although I'm still gonna get it, I honestly hope it doesn't win Game of the Year in any category. It doesn't deserve it like Melee did.
So much brawl hate and the game hasn't been released outside japan yet. I don't give a damn about clones(except for the Fox-Wolf-Falco thing) so it's easy for me to say that I'm not hating until I can get my hands on it. Brawl is a huge step up from Melee, we have a good online mode(repeat: GOOD ONLINE MODE, that's rare on wii), a badass level editor, some awesome new assist trophies, and a crazy selection of great music, new and old. The Pros absolutely pwn the cons. It's just that the cons are fresh in our minds.
