Blasphemy

Anyway, this game looks meh. I'm into Tekken, but there are only a few Tekkens that I like: Tekken Tag, Tekken 3, and Tekken 5 DR. This game looks like one of those Tekken games that I will not like. I'm not the kinda of person that will play a new fighitng game unless it improves on the previous one. I'll give it a chance, but I doubt I'll like it.

Does anyone know Jin's fate in Tekken 6?

Does anyone if we will the second form of Devil Jin in this one?

They said that Kazuya was supposed to be the one to stand against Jin. We've seen what happened to him in Tekken 4 with his son. What's to say that Jin won't beat him again. How much power does Kazuya have on the Devil? Can he really transform at will? If he could, it would serve him well to use it against Jin. If I can recall right, he needed Jin to be able to use the Devil to his full potential(Tekken 4) Although they claimed in Tekken 5 that he was able to transform on his own when he left Honmaru. It would be good to see Devil Kazuya in action again.

/gasp.. you like Craig?

I'm just not a fan of the big wrestler or slow moving types.. /shrug

Does anyone know if Jin still has his corpse thrust in Tekken 6?

if he's still doing normal karate, I dont see why not

Tekken 6 is a complete joke honestly, when I visited my Uncle in Tokyo, I decided to go to the local arcade and try Tekken 6 out.

Before I say tell you all why I think Tekken 6 is trash, it has to go back to Tekken 5. Tekken 5 was "labeled" as the savior to the franchise, when it did absolutely nothing but throw out crushes which rip through frame advantage attacks and made juggles become even more juggle happy, not to mention, making moves that where once tough to do ex: Ewgf, so execution friendly that even your grand mother could pull it off.

Even with the introduction of DR, I couldn't stand it any longer.

However, after playing Tekken 6, it actually made me like Tekken 5 : DR...and all I've gotta say is...a fighting game's gotta be pretty bad to make me like DR.

The first thing I noticed, was that movement is completely nerfed, it just completely feels like your fighting within a phone booth, which is annoying, simply because attacks track so much easier with this notion.

Doing things like Dash Jab Dash Jab repeat, was alot harder, signifying a more TekkenTag like feel, but nowhere near as much movement freedom.

However, playing more into the game, and trying to figure out some stuff with my boy Jin. Ewhf seemd to B!...which I thought was laughable, however after a few more sets and about nearly an hour's worth of play, I simply couldn't take this game anymore and just dropped it like a bad habit.

This game is absolute garbage, when I first saw the videos of Tekken 6, and saw the "juggle's galore+B!+Rage" I knew in myself that this game would be trash.

However, I prayed that I would be proven wrong, voicing my opinions at TZ about my dislike for the way that Namco was pushing T6 out to be.

Yet my fears ring true, when I actually touch the game. Because B! simply makes juggle carries so much easier, and with the benefit of the floor breaking, it just allows juggles to last even longer.

Rage was the dumbest, and I mean this, the DUMBEST thing Namco could of thought of. I had around 60% of my life, while my opponent who was playing Kazuya was on the ground but had rage activated.

I should of been more careful, however I did the mistake of walking in and suffered a wake up 3.

However, after that, the wake up 3 allowed him to B!...in which he carried it off into a juggle...in which he got me to a wallsplat...in which won him the round.

Seriously...he took off over 60%+ of my life with a WAKE UP 3 INTO JUGGLE WITH RAGE?!

Is Namco really seriously with this notion or what? The whole advantage of having 60% of your life to someone with 10% of their life when they have Rage is almost meaningless now.

Simply because the opponent can destroy you with one mistake, and I lost a few times with the opponent who had rage, that it resulted in me, EVEN though I had more life, to play a turtle, let's just start doing safe mid's now, because we know we can both kill each other with one mistake mentality.

When I was playing, I found myself simply sitting there turtling all the time, regardless of who I was trying, wether it be DJ, Jin, Kaz, or even Law...I did nothing but turtle, turtle, and to wait for an opening or to land a launcher.

It just completely removes alot of the creativity that used to be in Tekken previously...heck, even T5😄R had more creativity then this, and I did not like DR at all. To me, Tekken 6 is just a trash game honestly, and talking to alot of the peeps there in Tokyo, good thing most of them knew english and could do solid communication with me, because I can't speak japanese worth my life anyhow.

Anyhow, many of them dislike how Tekken 6 turned out, and that the Rage System takes out alot away from the Comebacks that should be hard to obtained.

However, some actually enjoyed the T6 Juggle+B+Rage fest that was there and yes, they are all entitled to what they like. However for me, as a player who used to play Tekken competitively...it's just a joke now.

Regardless of who you play, you'll still be playing with the absolute same mentality, you'll be looking for that launcher, or that crush, or that low, to get you to juggle. For me, it's just not fun anymore, the whole fun of Tekken with strategy and creativity is severely watered down in Tekken 6.

Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 had the greatest in depth and strategical play, however Tekken 6 is the absolute worst now. I thought Tekken 5 was the worst series out of them, however I'm proven wrong with Tekken 6.

Tekken 6 has actually made me like Tekken 5, man, I shouldn't even call it Tekken 6, I should call it Trash 6 for all I care. If anyone on here who has actually played it and enjoys the game, tootles for you.

As for me, I'll never take Tekken 6 seriously, as I would have hoped too.

Damn.. namco seems to be making habit of crapping on their best franchises these days

I like how you are able to customize the characters in this one. I always wanted to know what would happen to Jin in Tekken 6 seeing that he goes evil.

(Kazuya isn't Jin's father, he is the son of Wheatstraw. Wheatstraw put the 4th of July in Jun and made leapyear jump over the moon.) (LOL)(JK)

Man, I hope they fix this game, I really do, cuz it looks good.

Tekken 5 was like the most current FG to piss me off the most.

Is there a release date?

🙁 watch @ 1:08 on...

I'm never touching this, ever

Rage Comeback

I like a slight change every now and then, and the movement looks to be about the same. I see a lot of side stepping and quick movement in that match. I see a lot of juggling also, but nothing different than what I've seen in DR. I could do a 7 hit air combination with Hwoarang leading right to another 2 hit combo. What Namco should do with the console release is let their be airborne control like there is in Soul Calibur. That way the person in the air would have to decide which direction to go while the one doing the combos will decide upon which moves he would use that would hit the opponent if he was leaning towards the left or right.
