The problem with this thread is you got 9 people talking about 8 different things. You got talk about all guns being removed, all guns being outlawed, using other weapons as violence, all violence being eliminated, gang use of guns, America's gun crime rate, America's non-gun crime rate, and peanut brittle.

Banning guns will not mean that there are no guns around...just less...and less guns is still better than more guns.....because less guns cause less gun related crimes....
Also, obviously decreasing gun crimes will decrease the amount of crimes in general.

If we have to ban guns, then we have to ban all weapons. That will would also include all the tools that we've used since the beginning of our time that have helped us to survive.

Like a gun, a pencial is a weapon. Like a gun, a shovel is a weapon. Like a gun, a hammer is a weapon. All these tools are used for different things, but mis-use them and they can become a weapon. If we ban guns, why not ban all of these other things that we use in our day to day lives? I must say we'd be in a pretty good bind here. So, are you going to keep talking out of your ass?

It's easy, you have a gun you go to jail....if you don't follow the rules you will be punished...I was under the impression this was the case in the US as well.
Guns are a tool solely used for killing. Seriously, it doesn't get much easier than a gun. Even if all criminals use knives or crossbows now, it will still be less than guns ever were. And you can protect you with other tool...Tazers, Shockers, Pepper spray, Baseball-bata......

I'm not a troll..I don't try to annoy you, I participate in this thread with my opinion, jsut like you...if Floo or Ush start talkinjg Bullshit I will tell them that as well....but for now you do.
A gun is jsut a weapon......nothing more.
A pencil can be used as weapon....well go ahead...protect yourself with the pencil, no one stops you. But a gun is just there to kill someone (including animals)...nothing else.

I for one won't give a rats rip about a gun ban. If they do implement a gun ban in the US, how many people would actually give up their right to bear arms? Out of 90,000,000 people, how much of them would you think would say
"Hey, the Government wants us to give them our guns or we'll be put in jail! Let's give up our right to bear arms!!! Yipeee!!!"
How many people from that number of 90,000,000 gun owners will say
