Have a WoW guild-mate that was in the beta. He described it as a shameless WoW clone with slower PvP.

Never been huge on MMOs anyway. I only have WoW because I have multiple family/friends to play with. Doesn't seem worth the time-sink to me. But have fun, whoever buys it.

Its meant to have slower PvP, you have to complete missions against the other team like 'capture the hill for a set time' thing instead of 'kill the other guys cause they're bad'. Which is probably bad for the market, since all the WoW players will jump on thinking its same old, same old and then find out they actually have to do some work instead of cast buffs and spells, and then they'll quit playing.

Maybe. It certainly won't appeal to the FPS junkies and younger crowd, which actually might be a plus for some of us.

Not saying WoW's perfect (it's not) but if it's too similar, why put hundreds of hours into a new MMO that won't be significantly different than one you already have. I think they're treading on thin ice. Hardcore Warhammer fans aren't going to be enough of a base, and the MMO market has expanded in past years, but is still limited due to market saturation.

My bad, I forgot about Orcs and Dwarves, I thought they only had Chaos/Dark Elves and High Elves/Empire.

Shouldnt be that bad then...

Elven White Lions look interesting. Did they change the classes? Dark Elves look completely different and missing the Corsair class I think they had before. Wouldnt mind an Assassin class.

they added and changed and deleted a lot of classes

you should watch the production videos and diaries on the main site, you'll see how awesome the pvp will be. and quests

Is it really coming out for the 360?

They have a lot of races to choose from if they want:

Empire, Elves (light and Dark), Dwarves (chaos and regular), orcs, goblins, ratmen, chaos northmen

The level of power that one can reach on the evil side is far beyond anything that you can attain in wow at least. I mean when we talk wow there are some epic class stuff but it's jsut another level of power in a class. When you talk warhammer there are powerful classes but if you truly succeed a heroes power hits the level of demons and the lights opposites. imo the full extent of possibility for a character is much greater then in WoW.

You cannot be a "Ratman"

I'm going with Dwarves....HA!

Going with the Dark Elves hahaha sorcerer here I come...

Ore Magus from Chaos hasn't quiet decided yet...

Can't stand that disc the Magus ride on

I'll be a Disciple of Khaine
A Chose
or a Sorcerer

Open beta this friday 馃槃

Also, there is a new cinematic trailer out

www.warhammeronline.com

Have seen it awesome trailer 馃槃

And I think I will just wait until det 18 september before I join the game.

But Glad to hear we have yet another destruction here, seriously he want to be a dwarf when you can be a Black Orc, who wants to be a Swordmaster when you can be a Witchelf and how want to be a firewielding mage when you can throw around dark magic...

Destruction for the win.

Although I Find bright wizard visually awesome, it'll give his position away in rvr

as where a sorcer/es/or has some spells you wont notice at times
sneaky sneaky dark elf

and im a huge fan of paladin (warrior priest)
but even more of a fan of dark warriors (chosen)

Destruction for the win

That it will, a huge fireball is hard to miss.

If you choose the path of Calamity you foes don't know what is happening before they are laying dead on the ground.. That seems interesting...

They are awesome but the Previous Trailer spoke out clearly which one is the best of the two 馃槢

馃憜

Hah, well see how the BW didn't die...

Hah see how he didn't dare getting near the shadow warrior when the sorceresses was around?

Haha, true... true.

She was about to tear that shadow warrior up

That she was, her staff was just beginning to power up, and then she was "saved" 馃槅

haha, they're done

Do they still have Kill Tracker?
So if you slay 20 bears on the way to a questgiver who want you to kill 20, you automaticly get the quest done.

Or is that one of the feautures that might have gone away?
