So Slash, Gideon and Zam, should I expect responses from each of you or are we just going to agree to disagree on this one?
Spoiler:
Unless you've added something new in the past 24 hours, you were unable to address my concern regarding the supposed difference between the drain of the Dark Reaper and that of Nihilus/Exile/Kreia. This is the decisive component of the entire discussion: If they're not different, Vader can resist Kreia's drain, and it's curtains for granny. 😬
Dude, I've given you the evidence. Its not my fault you're refusing to have your 'concern' addressed by it.
The Sith technique is the same as the Exile's technique. And the Exile's technique is forcing Force Bonds and stealing energy through them. You yourself said you didn't think a machine could do that. Ergo its not the same technique.

Really? I have it right here. I guess I should read it then?
I'm a personal buff in Sumerian myth and literature (I've read every peice of Sumerian/early semitic poetry I can find) and so for me... it was chock full of references to guys like Kramer, who I've read. Plus, Neal Stephenson is a genius... like the plot is fvcking amazing. A technological and biological virus transmitted through binary... fvcking amazing! Brainstem as BIOS, ancient Sumerian as brainstem sourcecode!
Oh and I want to give Y.T. children... except she's fifteen.

You might like "Vellum," by Hal Duncan. It is pretentious as fuck, deals with mythology, and is written beautifully. Most of the time you're not sure what just happened, but you know it's fucking awesome.
Whoa...
Whoa!
*Looks up Vellum*
Because it's apparently fucking awesome.
