I've always found the Quarians AIDS problem to be incredibly inane. After all these years they never managed to engineer a fix? It's not like they are under the Council's retarded genetic preservation laws and clearly genetic engineering is around.

Also there is no biological reason why their immune systems should atrophy. There is a really good post somewhere (that I'm not going to bother to google) about the science/[color=green]genetics behind why they would not lose an immune response.[/color]
