DA2 always has the same ending though. Thats the problem. Only thing that changes is whether or not one companion leaves, the rest really is set in stone. Its linear to the extreme. Maps are recycled, just the same dungeons over and over but with different doors locked. Combat never changes, and things can't be used in combination to make them more powerful or to have interesting effects. Your companions never change, and have very little depth. The final boss is not expected, I will say that much.

Agreed, I loved the beginning of that game. Very effective.Much better than the Elder Scrolls with their bizzare prisoner fetish. I swear, every great champion in that setting is a convinced pedophile or something.
Fallout 3's prologue was better than Oblivion's or Morrowind's though, admittedly. Well, Morrowind didn't really have one. "Here's some munny, now GTFO AND START ADVENTURIN'!"
Also, no. The suggestion that TES should ever have a game where your character doesn't start out as a convict is heretical in the TES fandom, stfu.
Sweet, Skyrim should arrive tomorrow. I just bought it.
I wonder if you'll be a convict in the Elder Scrolls Online. Millions of convicts running around collecting rat skulls. I suppose by then people might have realised the awesome potential in criminals and just start handing out swords and letting them go. mmm
