we just don't see them as much.
That's always been the problem. They're emphasizing a couple of people over all the others for no good reason. We can speculate, sure, but the series doesn't really show us anything substantial. The war and the citizenry, the other Jedi, the victims and casualties, the consequences and destruction---it's suggested all that exists but they only ever focus on a couple of people and prop them up as super important with no real explanation as to why (other than fan familiarity).

It's kind of like the Galaxy of Fear books, where the no-nevermind protagonists keep meeting all the major players from the films, for no other reason that fan familiarity. It really makes a galaxy-sized world feel very small and inconsequential.

Except we have a reason: Anakin is the most powerful Jedi that is regularly out on the field. Heck, in the RotS novel Anakin and Obi-Wan are called the greatest heroes of the Clone Wars.

Also they are the main characters... And that's typically what shows, movies, etc do. They focus on certain characters at the expense of others.

Edit: Although I must agree having them meet all these other characters like Chewie, Tarkin, and Ackbar is stupid.

Excusing 5 seasons worth of the same three characters solving all the problems and having all the important adventures is a cop out for lazy and unimaginative writing. There's 1000s of Jedi, where are they and what are they doing? As far as we can tell, most of them are meandering about the Temple halls while only a dozen or so are running the entire war effort. They've really made this galaxy feel very, very small by involving so few people doing every damn thing.

Quoted for the effing win.

Secondly, it seems that our good friend Tempest was ill-informed when he said that the Jedi Knight resists the Emperor's domination with only Ordus Din's words of comfort. What actually happens is that he clearly affects you with the Force, causing you to flash blue (an indication of lightside Force usage in Swtor) and fall unconscious. He then appears to you (telepathically?) while you're unconscious to break you free from the Emperor's control. Interestingly, in your mind the Emperor is torturing you, until Ordus comes at least, clearly indicating that he does something. Afterwards Lord Scourge refers to you and Kira as 'special' for having broken the Emperor's domination.

This should help:

When Master Orgus Din, an old ally reaches out through the Force, the Knight is able to break the Emperor's mental domination. (Star Wars The Old Republic Encyclopedia)

😉

Thanks. 😉

Either way its clear that it isn't as simple as just having someone try to talk you out of it since you confront all the Jedi Vitiate turned and try to get them to snap out of it but they don't until you beat their asses first.

Lol@ the picture DE. I always enjoy it when morons with an agenda create these pictures (not you, whoever created it). The red herring is glaringly obvious. The former comment refers to passing of laws, while the latter refers to the regulation of laws. Stupidity ftw!

Episodes like "Lair of Grievous" that revolve around Kit Fisto and other tertiary characters was one of the redeeming elements of the show. Alas, Filoni outright confirmed that those days are long over.

I sympathize with what you're saying, but then most TV shows suffer from this. At least, every crime or legal procedural you've ever watched.

facepalm

Orgus Din flat out says the player character is what fights Vitiate's influence off. But by all means, continue to disregard this in order to blow Vitiate [out of proportion].

Isn't that basically the same thing? I mean its obviously parodying the resistance to gun regulation by bringing up gay marriage and abortion regulation.

In a psychic brain-conversation after banishing a manifestation of Vitiate. As I said, simple conversation isn't enough on the other members of the Strike team.

BTW, Canadian, this made me think of you:

"One cannot have power of that magnitude that her master possesses and still think and perceive the universe as we do."

"Power? Do you think so? You would be wrong."

facepalm

She's making a point dumbass.

Does that somehow change the words or alter their meaning? Like, if I say a sentence in a shopping mall, does the meaning of the sentence change when uttered in my apartment? Are words relative, subject to location and environment?

Your mancrush is prompting you to leap gracefully off the cliff of reason and into the depths of DURRR.

You spend dozens of post over the past year furiously masturbating to the Hero of Tython as this unparalleled figure of power who could pwn b1tches left and right and then exude surprise that the plebes of his era can't replicate his willpower?

😂

You're so simple to bait, it's amusing. Anyway, the only point of the conversation is that she's a contrarian b1tch. "LOL NIHILUS IS SO POWERFUL EXCEPT WHEN YOU SAY IT BWAHAHAHAH!"

No, but psychic communication is suspect. If Din is able to talk to the Hero psychically then its possible that he can do other things psychically as well. We know that he was using the Force and we also know that for some reason it was important to knock the Hero out and do it psychically. As I've said, he can appear and talk to the Hero outside of the Heroes head, so why did he need to knock the Hero out to talk?

Not surprised, just pointing it out to support my theory. Why do you even care what I think anyway?

Just because you're an exceptionally fragile fanboy doesn't mean I can't love you. You expect me to just throw away the nights we shared?

Just wondering if you have an ulterior motive. Like if you're going to start claiming Sidious could break the domination on willpower or something if I cave.

You are a terribly paranoid young man.

Or I just know you too well.

Your insinuations wound me. uhuh

But do you know that I know that you know me too well?

You know it!
