Er, dude, the Empire is still much worse than all that. In fact, as I recall the prevailing response to Belsavis during the Imperial quests there is 'Huh, these guys have cooler than we thought.' They approve of Belsavis.

Even a relatively sane Sith like Malgus is still a ****ing lunatic who despised peace, wanted perpetual warfare and murdered his girlfriend for power.

And lets not forget that they had a plan to kill every Evocii on Nar Shaddaa because they're huge racist monsters. And as I recall theres similar plans in place all over the galaxy because the Empire freaking loves genocide.

Lord Praven is probably the sanest Sith in Vitiate's Empire.

And oddly enough, I don't hate Sidious; as Nai said to Sids66, I just hate the way people debate in favor of him. He's done by a good actor, he is evil and devious and plays the Machiavellian villain very well. And the book you reviewed indicated he had a serial killer side to him, which I thought was an appropriate and cool development.

I just don't buy the hype that he is the end-all of all. I don't think he needs to be in order to be likeable. IMO, Sidious could be super smart and not top tier, and it would be his niche. He's arguably a better manipulator than Kun, or Vitiate, or Malak. His power grab is the most complete and subtle in the mythos.

So why does he need to be the best in combat too?

DS Inquisitor is clearly the best option, but most of the other classes work better as Light Side/Neutral.

Very interesting. I'd actually love to discuss this at length, but it has never bode well for us in the past. When your blood sugar is in normative parameters and you feel up for it, we shall do philosophical battle.

DS in TOR has the standard Bioware problem of DS amounting to be a crazed, bloodthirsty douchebag imo. I'm really enjoying my LS Warrior on the other hand. He just comes off as so... mature. Its weird, but I actually like the character.

I gotta say, after watching Get Shorty for the billionth time, it has to be one of the greatest underrated movies of all time.

Never seen it. Still think the most underrated movie of all time is Centurion.

Never seen it, but if you've never seen Get Shorty and didn't know better, you'd think it could have been written by Tarantino. Just a brilliant movie. They definitely don't make movies like that anymore, as evidenced by the 2005 shitquel "Be Cool".
