The adult milestone article from cracked is good stuff. The "having strong opinions on a subject but not remembering why" point definitely reminded me of this place.
That's what I've been hearing. Defintely need to see it.
Dusted off my JK for the first time in probably almost two years. Coruscant is still a meh setting, but goddamn if this guardian isn't OP compared to my marauder. And the bladework shown kind of makes the marauder look like a stupid mook by comparison. Lots of precision and flourish.
My wife dragged me to the first hunger games movie and my initial reaction was "gay". But the movie was phenomenal, got way into the series and then read the books. The books were just awful. Rushed, no amount of thought put into them after the brilliant dystopian future idea. Needless to say, I realized they were written for children. The movies are vastly superior to the books. Now, countdown begins for The Hobbit. I think we can all agree that Peter Jackson is vastly superior to GL in filmmaking and it's not even close. I mean 13 years after his LOTR trilogy, he makes another masterpiece (especially since people were skeptical about its quality beforehand).
