Yeah, it's amazing how fast some girls move on. At least two of my exs had boyfriends within the one month mark.
I'm surprised my ex publicized it. Too ballsy for her.

It must be some kind of special requirement, like air, Vitamin D, or sleep.
😂

Good for you. The best thing you can do now is make the active step to not check on anything relating to her; FB etc. Rechecking just makes it harder on yourself, not her.
True; I blocked her from FB a few weeks ago; I was informed by mutual friends of this development.
Petrus
I'm sorry, Tempest. But at least you realized she wasn't worth it, even if it was 5 years later.
Also true, it could have been another 5. And we weren't married and with kids. Just sucks that I spent half a decade on this person.

Tough times bro. I've been through almost the same thing myself in the past. But good news is if you can get past this you can get past anything.
Blax
Sorry to hear your troubles, bro. Phuck that *****.
Thanks brohan.

This explains much. The homophobia, the love of watching young guys fight over touching a small object they often nestle between their legs, the love-hate relationships with most of KMC's leading men.

Damn. I was gonna bust in here with something witty, but I'm too tired.
Failed comeback attempt, take 1.
Speaking of homophobia, I'm pretty sure society has it backwards. Everytime an athlete comes out, it's front page news ALL day. Isn't the point of treating everyone the same way, by ignoring it completely? I'm not singling out liberals or the left, just anyone who cries wolf everytime someone doesn't have a complete support of homosexuals, yet alienates them by putting them in the spotlight. You want to treat homosexuals like regular people? Don't give a shit everytime someone comes out. It's not front page news, nor should it be.
Help me understand this RH. What I've noticed is that the only group of people that mention homophobia or homosexuality in general, are homosexuals and advocates. It's as if they need to create a crusade for themselves. Now I'm definitely not debating whether homophobia exists, but in this day and age, it's contained and kept quiet. So everytime stories like these come out, I'm thinking that the homosexual advocates are the ones that alienate homosexuals.

My thoughts as well, Neph.
Dave, let's discuss your knee-jerk reaction here.
1. The media always makes a big deal out of what they think will illicit the biggest response out of the people. Those for and against homosexuality will take note when high profile individuals come out, because it has historically been difficult for many to do so and still is to some degree. Individuals can lose support from fans, family members, peers and so on just because they're gay. If this wasn't an issue, then them coming out wouldn't illicit such a response from both sides of the issue.
2. It's true that equality means treating everyone equal; hence the term. However, equilibrium has not been reached, because inequality is still the norm. Therefore, when someone is brave enough to announce a relatively unpopular opinion while in a position of celebrity, it is news. I'm sure if a white male actor tried to marry a black women before Loving v. Virginia ('67) or just after, it would be news for the same reason.
3. Generally speaking, racist people don't mention the term 'racist' talking about other people; other people mention racists in reference to them. The KKK considers their crusade 'enforcing racial purity', not 'being racist'; the normal people consider their crusade 'rampant racism/asshattery/unjust hate'. Just because the terms aren't used the same by everyone doesn't mean they're inappropriate in this context. Haters don't like being recognized as haters, not because they feel morally responsible but usually because they hate being singled out, which is hilariously ironic.
4. The idea that homophobia is 'contained and kept quiet' is LOL. Also, epic LOL at homophobies being 'alienated'. As a rule of thumb, the person who discriminates or hates first has the distinction of not being a victim when reacted upon by their victim, for the same reason why a would-be murderer is not the victim when his victim fights back.
Here, I got you a shirt:
My department at Walmart (Unloading) when I worked there was largely and openly homophobic; even my supervisor was homophobic.
Quote:
"If a man goes to prison and is raped by a man, he becomes a f@ggot."
That one struck me as particularly amusing.
"Contained", lol, sure. Vladimir Putin and Russia in general are an example of a country where homophobia is definitely not "contained", although Russia is admittedly a shithole in general.

Moose, did you ever struggle with a phase of thinly-veiled misogyny post-breakup?
No, but it was more difficult to go walking in the park here and seeing all those happy happy couples. Just stay inside and eat, you'll be okay.

You should have sued for discrimination. Then it could be Neme-Mart.

Unfortunately, you haven't even attempted to prove any kind of double standards here but as you're wont to do, you scream your claim long and hard enough, then you start to believe it without any evidence.
