So, why does Ann Frank having an unhealthy obsession with Spiderman make you horny, Neph?

Actually, its partially based on a true story:

Ah, "Leah." I remember it all too well. I had a dear friend named Leah, and the previous day I had visited her in the hospital on her deathbed (she had to be at least ten years younger than me, in case you're wondering). She wasn't conscious; but when I left, I kissed her on the cheek and in her sleep she put her hand to where my lips at touched her face. On the way home, I got a call from an editor that they had a six page gap in a Spidey annual, I think it was, and they asked if I could have them a script by tomorrow. I said sure and went to bed with absolutely no clue what I would write. I woke up in the middle of the night with the story fully formed in my head. I went downstairs, wrote it, sent it off, and went back to bed. I later found out that Leah had died right around the time that I woke up. I always considered it her final gift to me. Anyway, that's where that story came from. Colleen Doran really knocked it out of the park, I thought.

Bet you feel like a bit of an *******, huh?

Nope.

So it makes you horny because it's based off a real life story about a dead girl?

Jesus.

No, it made me sad and misty-eyed. Really beautiful imo.

Come here. I'm going to hug you.

Ok.

Mmm, you smell like cinnamon.

Well that was depressing to read.

TOR spoilers for the bonus series of quests for Taris:

Spoiler:
Are the new species of rackgouls that can use the Force the ones we saw in the Vector crossover?

I have no idea what that is. But I think the Nekghouls come from TOR and originate there.

TOR is so awesome. 😍

I honestly think its just as good as Kotor or any other Bioware game.

In some ways. Just a touch less epic and quality in storytelling imo, but still really good, and it has a tonne of advantages that the single player rpgs dont have.

TOR is god awful.

The story is. The MMO mechanics are decent.

There's enough plot holes to fill the Library of Alexandria.

Storyline is hardly god awful. I would give KotOR 2 a 9, Kotor 1 a 8.5, and I would give TOR an 8. For an MMO, with the amount of content it has, that is pretty incredible

Of course its advantages are that it has way more content than the single player rpgs (with never ending addition of storyline patches and expansions), group conversations are awesome, and it gives an epic storyline to all 8 class archetypes that you dont get in the single player rpgs (such as the class storyline for the trooper class, or smuggler, where kotors you only get to play as a jedi knight/consular).

Gameplay is much better than the single players, so in some ways I'd argue that TOR is Bioware's best game.

Once again, too many plot holes, unoriginal storylines, borrowed storylines, etc. It started GREAT, then the writers said "eh **** it idiots will still play this game" and half assed it the rest of the way.

Most stories in this day and age are unoriginal. It's rare that you get something groundbreaking like Inception or something. Doesn't mean the story's bad. Haven't completed the storylines (only played the Jedi Kngiht and I've only just gotten to Nar Shadae) so I can't comment on the plot holes. but what I will say is the quality of the writing and voice acting is on the same level as any of the other Bioware games, and the storyline is interesting and compelling imo, with great world building and great characters.

Edit - If you really are a fan of SW EU, you're doing yourself a big diservice by not playing the game imo, especially seeing as it's free. Out of any of the EU stuff being released at the moment, it's by far the best.

Edit x 2 - If you're merely a fan of the KotOR games you're missing out by not playing it, as it's a great follow up to the series. It continues the main story of both games, and also shows the aftermath of some of the smaller side stories form the games as well, and a tonne of small references as well. Taris for instance showed the follow ups to

Spoiler:
the Rackgoul plague, the Promised Land story from KotOR, the aftermath of the devestation Malak causes by blowing it up and the rebuilding of the planet, and has little nods to things like the Particle Accelarator and the wreckage of the Endar Spire, and even to stuff from the KotOR comics like the jedi satellite Academy and the Muur Talisman.
