Argentina is a one man team but that one man could beat the US by himself. I was impressed with how Netherlands responded against Australia within 5 minutes. They're better than the entire US roster top to bottom.
Messi is indeed quite a genius. But then: If you can control him, the entire team goes down. The response of the Netherlands was good, but Robben - for all his skill - always plays quite the same. I think the "smaller" teams will have a real good shot in the upcoming round, because nobody cared for teams like Algeria and hasn't really made and analysis of their play-style.
Yea Ozil has not impressed me this World Cup and I think he is their best player. They definitely need him at his best against Brazil.
Ozil can play ingenious passes and did so in the last game at a few times. But he needs people that can turn stuff like that into goals. But for scoring, one has to rely on Muller at the moment, as it seems. The guy is a killer, as Van Gaal once put it, but he can't win every game alone. Hope Loew moves people like Schurrle / Klose in faster the next time.
