You can say that militant christians are the same, but just a moment of non-PC stark honesty with yourself: What militant christians, compared to the many many groups of militant extremists muslims right now? Sure, the crusades, but that was 500 years ago. the KKK, and Westboro are undoubtedly TERRIBLE organizations, those people shouldn't even be alive, BUT, they aren't MURDERING people like ISIS, or kidnapping hundreds of schoolgirls to rape like Boko harem (Sp i'm sure, I'm ranting.) or "Honor beheading" people who get married without their permission, or putting people on DEATH FREAKING ROW for marrying a Christian. It's pretty terrible stuff, and the stories come out EVERY SINGLE DAY, and yet we aren't able to say the problem is ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS

we have to say, religious extremists, like every religion is doing this, but they aren't. You don't see Mormons murdering people. It's Islam.

triple post cause one more thought: I went through a time where I blindly believed what my parents told me too: I went through a time of enlightening I guess, in college, where I thought I needed to accept everyone and everything, and THAT was the correct way to be.

Now I think I've just had enough years of observation, where I feel like I can start to draw some conclusions, and one conclusion I am coming to, is that Islam is a problem. A violent, murderous problem. I don't know how we can act like it's obvious that something needs to be done with guns, because people are dying in shootings, and yet NOT SAY that something needs to be done about Islam.
