I'd like to think I had a period there where I was fine with it though. 2, maybe 3 years... All these recent stories make me think maybe I was just being gullible to feel that way even that long. Some things are the truth, whether they are PC or not, and I feel like maybe we are all being PC to the point of stubbornly denying the obvious. I'm not religious: If these were Christian groups, I would have the same response.

It's agenda, as it's always been. A slighted populace has been incited to violence under any of a hundred thousand banners (the cross, the swastika, the sickle and hammer: take your pick) a hundred thousand times by a few clever men with a good figurehead and a slick rallying cry. If it hasn't yet occurred to you that there are underlying factors common to every major ultraviolent movement you've ever heard of that have jack all to do with the names of the gods involved (or lack thereof), you should pull some time from the histrionics and get back to observation.
Only a smidgen fewer than one in four people on the planet is a Muslim, by the way. How does that play into your calculus concerning the problems inherent in—and apparently, exclusive to—Islam?

I'm not disagreeing with this. There are no question, devout, peaceful Muslims. What I'm saying is the platform is used often enough, that it needs to go. Make them find some other rally point. The Islam thing is being used too successfully in too many places, causing too many deaths. What does the 1 in 4 thing have to do with my point? I would wager fewer than 1 in 4 people are the ones I'm talking about.

I have a problem with any extremists. I've met a few non violent jewish extremists who blew my mind with their thought processes. But the non violent just like to preach. It's the violent extremists that should be dealt with harshly. No trial, no jury, just death.
And yea, I wouldn't say Islam itself is the problem although a lot of Jews would disagree. When a fraction of your group is violent, it's not the book you're reading from.
