Playing it on PC?

Yes. I'm trying out some fixes I found online. Apparently it has tons of issues.

And NV is the one always made out to be buggy and poorly coded, pffft.

NV may run better on newer machines, but it's till a game by Obsidian. Back in both their times, NV had way more bugs. The fact that it was made in a Bethesda engine didn't do it any favors either.

Oh and now I have an ulcer too. Thanks. Thanks god you giant prick.

**** this RNG bullshit.

Well, keep in mind that most of NV's bug controversy is due to it legitimately being worse than Hitler on the PS3.

Idk how Fallout 3 runs on PC so can't really help. Sorry.

I got it to work by fiddling with the code. I hate doing that.

So the savior has returned.

This is so dumb. I can play Fallout NV with minimal fuss, but Fallout 3 freezes in 10 seconds of walking around. I can't even make it out of infanthood! How can I play the older game fine but not the earlier one? I had this exact same problem with Bioshock 2.

Upgrade the rig is the douchey answer.

And the wrong one. The computer being too good was the problem. I had to limit it to only running 2 cores because quad core makes FO3 shit itself.

Today I had a dream that I was a vampire who killed someone and stole the building he owned. The rest of the dream was me being a landlord. One of my tenants flirted with me, it was great.

That's very strange.

Not the dream, but that the game was having trouble due to your cores. What OS do you use, out of curiosity?

Windows 7.

This was the advice I followed:

I remember this. Had to change some configurations in the .ini file. Let me check if I find the fix.

Try this:

Step 1)
Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3
Find the line:
bUseThreadedAI=0
change it to:
bUseThreadedAI=1
Add another line after it and insert:
iNumHWThreads=2
This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.

Don't remember if those were the lines I changed though.

I prefer the EU to that.

Oh my God.
If that is the script...
I quit Star Wars.

I hope to God those rumors aren't true.

There was a leak a while back that said one of the original plots was supposed to be a cult finding Luke's severed hand, and Vaders, trying to clone them and using the clones to fulfill Vader's dreams of father/son ruling the Galaxy.

I find these rumours as ridiculously unbelievable as that one.

When I saw your name on the most recent post, I knew you were just gonna take the chance to randomly shit on Bane. Now why don't you do us all a favor Intrepid and **** off.

Happy 50th Ryu!

Is it performing better now or are you still experiencing issues?

He already said he got it to work you misogynist.
