Apparently content with ruining Star Wars, Cartoon Network has launched a 'character guide'. Check out their 'bio' on General Grievous:

"A warlod from the planet Kalee, General Grievous always wanted to be a Jedi, but lacked force sensitivity. Furious that his powers would never equal a Jedi's, Grievous vowed to destroy the Order. He replaced his body parts with robotic limbs that gave him superhuman strength and agility. Now Grievous has the power to rival any Jedi."

If, by any chance, Grievous' superb background is retconned and this abomination is his new 'canonical' background, I will swallow George Lucas.

Yeah, read about it weeks ago in the CWVD. Ridiculous. They essentially carbon copied Ventress's background to him.

It turns him from a complex, manipulated, and exploited tactical genius into a bitter old alien. I guess they figured that his real origins would be 'too much' for kids, or some other shitty reason like that.

You to know to a good portion of people who have seen Star Wars, Grievous has no origins... he just randomly appeared one day on Episode III, hell even I didn't know who the **** he was, didn't really care either.
