They literally should have just replaced that seen with her, I mean how does this guy even know him anyway lol.

He was probably part of his squad. Apparently the 80 soldiers that accompanied Kylo Ren to Jakku were all chosen as elite soldiers, despite Finn never participating in a real battle before.

Yeah, there's a difference between the villain not being what you wanted versus the villain being poorly written. Kylo Ren is an insecure phuck boi compared to Vader, but it's obvious that he isn't supposed to be Vader. And Rey beating his ass will likely just give him an even bigger chip on his shoulder, making him even stronger, and will likely blossom into a pretty cool rivalry between him and Rey over the course of the series.

If you want the self-assured, brutally evil villain ala Vader than that's what Snoke and the other Imperials are for. It's what Phasma should have been... instead of what she was.

Probably the most disappointing element of the film. TRAITOR was a bigger badass than her.

But Vader was an insecure phuck boi...

They said she'll be back in Episode 8.

Thank God, man. Hoping for some cool moments from her then.

BTW, making a Kylo RT now.

Yes. Unfortunately that does nothing to help her shit portrayal in episode 7.

*motions to Boba Fett in Episodes 4 and 6*

Kylo Ren was unintentionally hilarious. My theater laughed when he'd have his random angry outburst. I guess Abrams was trying to make him seem all evil and menacing, but I just couldn't take him seriously.

Same thing happened in my theater.

Boba succeeded in tracking Han down in ESB and didn't get embarrassed until a movie later. Is there an actual analogy to Phasma's portrayal here or are you just a philistine?

That was obviously intentional.

@DK: lolwut? Kylo was an amazing antagonist and among the first in the franchise I actually hate (which is a good thing)... better than Vader ever was, IMO.

Minus the hate part I agree completely. Far darker than Vader was. First Order is also greater than the imperial army was as well.

@everyone: Unarmed, he raised a hand and utilized the Force to fend off one slashing blow after another, until finally her fury penetrated his remaining defenses.

Tutaminis / Force Absorption / Force Deflection or Force Barrier / Force Shield / Force Protection Bubble?

mmm

Guessing it's TK.

That wasn't an option.

It's probably Force barrier, given the options.

Yeah, because until further notice, half of your options aren't real. And TK is the much more likely answer. Suck mah balls, faggle.
