The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

First of all, averaging a triple double is goddamn insane. Secondly, the 3 finals Shaq was on the lakers, he averaged something like 35 and 16 which is also insane. That's why he's a more dominant force than Lebron.

Finally, it appears like Lebron's kryptonite is and always will be the San Antonio Spurs 😂

Hakeem > those old fuggots.

Do you finally accept Lebron into your heart, Quan? Top 5 player ever? 🙂
I don't see a problem with that. He's great. This latest accomplishment definitely solidifies and adds to his legacy.

Hypothetical bullshit that can't be proven either way, homie. 🙂

If LeBron had played even somewhat decent in the fourth, and they would have stomped that series. Instead, he folded and was dogged by JT, kek.

The guy has amazing numbers on the regular and won the series. Curry folded during this series. Lebron treated him like a whore and when you compare the totalities of their games it's obvious who the better player really is. Draymond Green was the one playing lights out for GS but in the end it wasn't enough. Give Lebron his due. He earned it.

Bruh, I ain't even arguing Kobe > LeBron as a whole. I'm arguing pre-Heat LeBron vs repeat Kobe.
As a whole, LeBron is top 3-4, while Kobe is 9, tbh.
Ok.

Can you guys shut the **** up so we can talk about that Game of Thrones episode already? 🙂

I haven't seen it yet, I should get on it.

True, but to be fair, Shaq went up against scrub teams in the Finals, whereas Lebron has gone up against the best of the West in just about all his Finals. The worst teams he played against were those Mavericks and those Thunder, and I don't think either was as bad as the Nets or the 2001 76ers.

Yep. They gave Lebron a run for his money in 2013. They really know how to win, but sometimes, like this past season, they just...don't.

You think so? I'm not as sure as you are, tbh.

True, true...mmm

Where do you rank The Logo?

Below Robertson. It's so hard to fault the dude for his shit Finals Record when you consider who he played against, but all the same, it limits him from being above Robertson and in the top 10 imho. He's still top 15, doe.

Why can't we talk about both ? Bad guys be dying left and right. Oh the dragons did finally seem quite formidable and we see why entire armies should fear just one of them. The battle of the bastards did not disappoint though I did want more giant carnage.

Spirs longetivity is something to be talk about but a Lebron beat them in the finals. I feel if the Spirs weren't destroyed by the thunder they would have lost to the Cavs IMO. They looked quite old this post season to boot.

Gonna keep the spoilers to a minimum in my reply, but this is your warning everyone.

Agreed on pretty much all of that, except maybe the carnage part, this was probably the goriest episode to date.

For me, we've finally got Game of Thrones back. It has been too long since the last time I felt genuine fear for a characters safety, or joy at a characters salvation, in this show. Dan and Dave seemed to have lost their mojo earlier on in the season, but for me this was the best episode of the entire series. The first major death was both unsurprising and devastatingly tragic, the last death was morbid yet utterly delicious... Everything about this episode was amazing, I only feel sorry for the Meereen scenes, as they were superb yet overshadowed by the ingenious piece of television that was the Battle of the Bastards.

Yeah, Lebron stopped Duncan from going 6 for 6 in the Finals. And yeah, this year was the Kawhi Leonard show, Lamarcus only showed up for a few games and the "Big 3" were nowhere to be found. They wouldn't have beaten the Cavs of the last 3 Finals Games, tbh.

Great episode and things seem to be really wrapping up to set the stage for the remaining survivors to pit themselves against the Night King. I still want to see Cersei perish. Oh and I still greatly miss Oberyn. Loved the dialogue in this episode with the red headed wild link ehise name escapes me with Stannis' former right hand man.

lebron was also saved by an uncharacteristic spurs collapse and the greatest clutch shot in nba history by ray allen. We all know what happened next year. In those nba finals, the spurs played the best basketball i have ever seen.

i disaggree. I think both the spurs and okc would have beaten these cavs.

Ehh, the way the Cavs played these past 3 games was sensational, and Lebron especially has Durant's number.

Well who cares they lost and the Cavs won. Overcame the 73 win reigning champs. How far did the Spurs make it again ?

Yeah, speculate all you want but reality recognizes the Cavs as champs.

LeBron has already beaten the thunder and the Spurs in the finals. Let him speculate until his head explodes.
