Still waiting for this hilariously misplaced bravado to be forfilled.

Since he isn't seemingly arguing that, as of yet, it doesn't seem like he'd get embarrassed. Believe me, it's not misplaced. Shooting down people who believe in scientific racism is as automatic to me as fucking breathing. I imagine it isn't even really that hard for anyone with half a brain. Scientific racism is legitimate horseshit.

Or will it be like that thread were you were presented with data sheets showing that Monkeys share more of their DNA with Africans than any other human populations and claiming to have made "valid arguments" by crying about how the data had bad implications.

Haha, yeah. This is definitely what happened. Keep dreaming.

Uh, The Lost, I'll get to your reply but when you say "scientific racism" is wrong, do you mean you don't think there are group differences in, say, cognitive abilities between the population groups we designate "races"? Because that claim is not refuted by saying that there's no underlying genotypic structure to justify the classifications - correlations and differences in distributions can exist without them. I can claim that people from Maryland are more intelligent on average than people from Texas, and whether that statement is true is not dependent on whether "Maryland" and "Texas" are scientific terms.

If I thought there was no group differences in cognitive abilities between population groups we designate as races, I would say there was no group differences in cognitive abilities between population groups we designate as races.

Believers of scientific racism did attempt to compare intelligence between different "races" but were methodologically wrong (among a myriad of other things) concerning how they went about it.

Lol well that's a diplomatic way to answer it. Anyway, I'll get back to you.

If you didn't favor my answer, you're free to explain why you didn't.

Well given that I don't recall you saying there are no differences, by your own criteria you must think there are. But you tried to phrase that in a roundabout way to mask the fact that you basically believe the same thing Ziggy does, except he's much more rude and blunt about it.

You genuinely misunderstood or you're being intellectually dishonest.

Ziggy and I completely disagree. You asked "When you say scientific racism is wrong, do you mean you don't think yada yada yada" and I was explaining to you that if I thought that, I'd say that. The statement has nothing to do with my thoughts on race and intelligence. I was clarifying how'd I'd respond in a given context.

Also, why the hell do you keep putting scientific racism in quotes?

He doesn't think he's being racist.

Lmfao what are you talking about? My question wasn't "how would you respond if you were asked that question", my question was that question. I asked you if you believed X, you said that if you believed X you would say X, and you never said X to me even though I asked you if you believed it, ergo by modus tollens you don't believe X. X was about race and intelligence.

Anyway, back to the larger debate.

Okay, you're overloading. I'll do this simply since you took me quite forwardly.

I don't believe that there are certain races that are more intelligent than other races. Any evidence I've seen is either not substantial enough to come to a formal conclusion on the matter or it's so insignificant, it's irrelevant.

When I say scientific racism is wrong, I mean it's wrong, along with physiognomy, phrenology, and whatever other subsets.

Anyway it's obvious from your responses that you've done a lot of Wikipedia Warrioring on the subject matter, but this is going to be funny because I've seen every one of your arguments a dozen times and you are heavily behind on the research. Let's do this.

Unfortunately, I caught this before your not-turbo-enough edit. "Wikipedia Warrioring?" Why, did you go quickly peruse some of the terms you saw me toss around on Wiki and happen to notice similar terminology? Hahaha.

Heavily behind on the research? Holy. Shit.

Yeah, this is going to be funny.

😂

Hey, The Lost, how come you’re so well-versed in all of this stuff? The knowledge you seem to have on genes and related topics is quite impressive.

Wikipedia Warrioring, of course!

I love the modus tollens throw-in too. How does one so badly bastardize propositional logic like that? I would have to literally be saying I would definitely have said that as opposed to figuratively proclaiming I'd say what I had meant to say directly if that was the intention.

According to his "usage" of "logic", I agree with Ziggy. He misunderstood. I'll put disclaimers next time. Lol?

Do we though?

The last "debate" we had wasn't really a debate at all. I posted some data sheets containing info without any analysis or commentary on my part, nor my own opinions on possible innate or cultural differences between groups. And your "argument" was to ramble about how the data could be badly analysed. IE : it showed something you didn't like so it must be bad.

Fundamentally and thoroughly.

Shitty troll is shitty.

Btw, it not just intelligence. Ellimist also thinks some races are more disposed to laziness and emotional instability.

Just wanted to put that out there.

That is what happened though. It doesn't seem like there's much room to disagree when the other person is arguing against possible arguments that haven't been made. Which seemed to be your "role" in that thread.

Honestly? The more he responds, the less it surprises me.

Stop talking to me. It's about as captivating to talk to you as it is watching paint dry. You're fucking lucky that thread got deleted (thanks to your racist nonsense) because it saved you from the world-class embarrassment you went through that others could have viewed or that you, from an alternative timeline where you have an iota of self-awareness, could have viewed!
