I like certain aspects of Socialism, including Universal healthcare. But trying to enact it in a country that's never known it... tricky business.
That's because you don't know how universal healthcare works, and how it can't possibly sustain 300 million people. And that's not even discussing the economic side effects this country will have if Congress allows this to pass.
Is it not that taxes are increased to support it, particularly for the wealthy, who can afford it, taking away the prospect of there being sick poor people who can't afford to get better and rich people for whom its nothing but small change thus creating a balanced system working towards the benefit of all rather than just a few pampered turds? awermm
DSNo.

ExodusIt's not at all fair to deem all wealthy folk "pampered turds," especially considering how much some of them have done for society. No one hates on Bill Gates, bud.

Here's what's going to happen.
Obama is going to attempt to raise the taxes of people making over 300,000 a year. When he realizes that this won't BEGIN to sustain the 1 trillion dollar plan, Obama is going to be forced to do the only thing he knows how, and print a ridiculous amount of money. When this happens, we're going to get very high inflation, and possibly lose our reserve currency status because the superpowers of the world will see how much US dollars are circulating. Basically, this plan will speed up the US economic collapse.

^ Hes pretty much right. The value of the dolalr would drop by like, $50 or something on the global market.
While I appreciate that you think I'm right, after reading that, all I can say is WTF? Where do you get your numbers from? That doesn't even make sense. Granted, the dollar HAS lost 96% of its value since 1913.

Was just guessing, because the mass production of money required to support that plan of his, will make it drop ALOT.
You don't throw out random numbers because it doesn't work this way. The dollar drops in relation to other currencies. And yes, when Obama has to print large amounts of money, we'll get massive inflation. Look for oil to eventually be $200+/barrel. Throw your money into oil, gold, and silver asap.
