There is a concept in internetomics (the study by laymen of the internet) that says, basically, that no patronizing satire (or parody) can be so extreme that it alienates all of the people it mocks. Someone will take it at face value.
What could I type into urbandictionary (or encyclopediadramatica) to find this rule? (What's the name?)

Yeah, becuase its not like jedi can react to things before they happen or anything. Like they have some kind of ..... some kind of precognition!!
I laugh at those pitiful Jedi with their primitive technology, no training and absolutely no supernatural powers trying to take down dudez with gunz! They've never had to do that or shown the ability to block multiple attacks per second! Noobz
which would be a good justification if not for the fact that jedi have been getting shot in the back and overwhelmed by blaster fire throughout the entire mythos. 😐 hell luke skywalker post dark empire was hard pressed to block the blaster bolts from a droideka simply because it was firing fully automatic instead of the usual single shot firing that everyone in the mythos seems to employ. and thats something thats always bothered me. i mean, look at this video.
q_PLc0XT7LM#movie_player
why are the clones running toward the enemy that can only kill them if he gets close?
why are the clones firing from the hip.... while running.
why are the clones using single shot fire against a small highly maneuverable target?
why are the clones bunched up?
why arent they spread out taking cover and maximizing the distance yoda has to travel to get to them?
theyre supposed to be the most highly trained soldiers in the mythos... so why do they employ tactics that even the greenest soldier in real life knows to not do?
fact of the matter is that every gun wielder in the star wars fights like that... completely unrealistically, so its no wonder jedi can roll through them with ease. but an M4A1 carbine rifle (standard us rifle) can fire 950 rounds a minute... they have a magazine of 30 rounds so that means they can fire 30 rounds in two seconds... can you provide any canon instances in the mythos, not gameplay or some over exaggerated cartoon instance, but actual canon dsplay of any jedi deflecting anything even remotely close to that amount? hell. a single infantry squad has 9-10 soldiers in it.. so thats at least 8 soldiers spraying 15 rounds a second with actual accuracy, not the typical star wars pot shots every which way.
no jedi could survive that. maybe not even luke, not straight up with him out in the open. and thats not even counting shotguns and other spread fire weapons that a jedi cant even deflect at all.
yeah its crazy what kind of stuff we've got that would mess a jedi up. youve heard of the AA-12?
thats a fully automatic shotgun that has an affective range of 300 feet and fires 300 rounds a minute (5 a second)... imagine three or four guys armed with those opening up on anyone the crossfire spread from that would be, literally, impossible to dodge.

Why should I care about the clones? I'm talking about the Jedi here. Also, all that stuff is there becuase George Lucas is a moron. PIS. Fact is that there are a ton of other instances that make out the clones to be utter badasses. Just watch the old clone wars cartoons.

Obi-wan Kenobi. ROTS novel. Against Grievous.
There's also a bit in LOE where he deflects the combined fire of around 30 droids at once (possibly super-battle droids).

Yea read that a few weeks ago. Dan might be their best writer. Either him or Chris Bucholtz. Those guys always have classic posts.

Well, at least the Jedi from the movies. On the other hand, in some novels and the first CW cartoon they are portrayed as DBZ characters (faster than the eye can see and that crap), which would allow them to just move around fast enough so you wouldn't even be able to aim at them properly and they won't even have to draw their lightsaber.
Damn, I apparently still haven't accepted the retarted overpowering of Jedi...I mean, even something like Obi-Wan's ability to block 16 strikes per second already seems over the top.
18 strikes Slash, 18.
"each of the twelve strikes per second came from a different angle with different speed and intensity, an unpredictably broken rhythm of slashes, chops, and stabs of which every single one could take Obi-Wan's life. Not one touched him...Grievous, snarling fury, ramped up the intensity and velocity of his attacks-sixteen per second, eighteen-until finally, at twenty strikes per second, he overloaded Obi-Wan's defense. "
🙂
That was in the movie, never mind the CW cartoons.

I like the some of the video-game articles by David Wong, personally. Swaim is the master of the video though. but i miss those aren't muskets.
Britanick is also fantastic.. obviously gladstone.
Cody obviously sucks...
