Just a curious little question, if someone developed a decent Star Wars game of this genre with modern day equipment, graphics etc. Who would purchase it or would consider playing it?

As a kid, I knew that neutrinos were realllly hard to interact with. Like interacting with the bastard child of The Invisible Man and Shadowcat while it was having an existential crises.

Then I learnt that a supernova simply pumps out so many of them that it blows its outer layer off with such energy that it outshines its galaxy.

I feel like it's hard to make a Star Wars fighting game where not every opponent has a lightsaber. Lightsabers are meant to be the trump card in most combat situations with all its advantages, they'd be hard pressed to make someone with anything less seem threatening.

That was a huge complaint with Teras Kasi; lightsabers bludgeoned like bats instead to make things fair. Silly.

and thats so sad because a jedi would last about 30 seconds a standard us military squad in real life =\

Well yeah, but that's why they aren't real. 😛

And if everyone had one and it wasn't used like a bat, it'd just be a duelling game and I'd expect some sort of grand duelling system instead of a fighting one.

So a Soul Calibor-esque game wouldn't be liked, yes the lightsabers don't do the damag they naturally would, but for gameplay sake??

I guess you could go Soul Calibur-esque, but I think people would prefer duelling over mauling.

jedi could take down military units me-thinks. Look at the success magneto had against the U.S. military. Jedi would use the same technique.

I don't think you can compare Magneto's magnetic powers to the TK of an average Jedi.

Magneto's magnestism manipulation is way beyond Jedi telekinesis, I think. I feel like Jedi are not strong enough to stop bullets in midair, just alter their paths.
