You know, I don't quite understand how the Eurozone works. I know it relates to the currency, but how does the Euro retain the same "value" when its the currency of a loose collection of independent states?

Who says it will? The Euro has a little more to fall. It's basically the end game with the Greece bailout.

You know what's great about being an American? You can always count on your government not to give a damn when you are arrested by a hostile state.

Except they aren't.

Why don't we go ahead and grab a few ****ing Iranian citizens and lock them up in some hell hole for a bit?

Moral high ground my ass. They are a bunch of barbarians anyways.

Ho-o-kay. That was a little racist.

I'm sorry but any nation state that doesn't let their women walk around in public without hiding under a rag, is barbaric and primitive. Saudi Arabia is even worse. They are so primitive their women can't even drive or go outside without a keeper.

'Krat is right on this one. The islamic world is both primitive and terrifying. It is literally the opposite of civilized peoples.

I'm kinda of pissed off because the Obama administration hasn't appeared to be working towards getting our citizens released from that hell hole.

While we were having our "Crusades" almost a thousand years ago, Islam was prospering. During the mid 20th century, the leaders of Islam decided to take it up a notch and re-enact some bullshit ancient laws. And now, Islam has its backwards Crusade🙂

How do you know that is Obama's intention in the first place? The guy is a first class bullshitter, better and more secretive than Bush.

I am fully aware of Islam's glory days (we can thank them for Aristotle) but as you say, those days are long gone.

Heh, the U.S. is a friend of Islam, according to Obama.

diplomacy ftw

Hmm, I took that political compass test.

I had to really think about what was more important, controlling inflation or unemployment.

I couldn't make up my mind on that one.

They both lead to economic collapse. The idea though, is that inflation does it quicker, assuming that inflation leads to higher inflation, more debasement of the currency, then hyperinflation. Unemployment is kind of a drawn out process depending on how much government manipulation exists in the statistics and how the markets are affected by the perceived unemployment rate.
