It wasn't offside, FIFA freezed the image too late, we've been shown an image of when the ball actually got kicked and then it wasn't offside. The first goal shouldn't have happened, like 5 or 10 seconds before that, Holland made a fault which could be given a card for.

It was the same play Paraguay was called offsides for when they scored.

Depends on your definiton of owned. It was heavily speculated that what with him being an easier to sympathize with than normal white cop who's only crime was shooting a black dude, that he would get off. Especially considering the case was judged in one of the most racist cities in the State.

ah. I don't know myself. There were people absolutely everywhere, and tons of cameras. I can't see why he would have purposely murdered him there. that is beyond stupid, if it WAS on purpose.

I don't think he did so either. He doesn't look like the type to just off someone in cold blood. Imo, he made a really stupid mistake but a mistake none-the-less. It's not enough though for a lot of people... like you said IvManslaughter only gets you a few years, less with good behavior. People want him to see him get axed.

Caught the 2nd half at a bar. I must say, Forlan is my MVP of the tournament. He has 5 goals, all with a ridiculous degree of difficult. He should get the award, not Schneider or Villa. Muller should come in 2nd. Great game though, best game of the World Cup.
