Reading that little excerpt at the bottom again, I find myself not nearly as impressed. His writing is too... I don't know, sophisticated? It feels distant. Even while reading through it, it was difficult to shake the feeling that this was nothing more then a story written by some scholar with too much time on his hands.

Of course, that might just be the alleged ADHD talking.

Rhetoricians use tone for effect just as intentionally as they do content. Publius is nothing if not effective.

As the resident writer, I'm going say Blax is oblivious to good writing. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a tragic consequence of attending the California public school system.

I'm also several shades browner then the average American.

I'm sure that must have something to do with it.
