Faunus, I'm deeply sorry for your pain. Believe me, I've been there.
At least I had the pleasure opportunity to make fun of the movie.
AHHNG is twitchy and the AHHvatar doesn't seem to be very good at anything. Also, in the 2d version, I'm reasonably sure that during the Kyoshi scene (with the earthbending village) parts are still in 3d.
The bending plays out like martially cast spells rather than intuitive extensions of the body (AHHNG has to do all fifteen hand movements before the air starts moving) and Iroh is not nearly as badass as he is supposed to be.
THIS JERK is the bad guy, and I kept expecting John Stewart to cut him off.
What an incredibly disappointing trainwreck.
What is with all this civilization bashing?
You do realize that people in, say, the medieval times lived only into their 30s and in subhuman conditions, right?
And that as recently as the 60s, colored people were consistently hanged by groups such as the Ku Klux Klan?
Oh, and all these complaints about our government, while sometimes valid, are often overemphasized. In, say, ancient China you could get executed for looking at the Emperor.

No, I'm just someone that recognized that as a society, we peaked in the 50s and went downhill starting from the 60s until today. My generation is smarter than the current teenagers. My parents' generation is smarter than mine, and my grandparents' generation is smarter than my parents' generation. Technology is a double edged sword. So is philosophy. And you're introducing a small part of American society? Racism still exists you know, although not as much. Yes there has been progress but overall, we're regressing.

Maybe in some ways, but when looking at the big picture, a graph of humanity's progress would show an exponential increase (except for a few dips such as the dark ages).
