I've never been in the same situation where I've had the same IP as someone else regardless of the network. In college we all had the same network and different IP.

So what the is saying is, they have been so inept as to not realize that Gideon has had multiple accounts for 5 years, that they now want to save face and start applying the rules religiously.

I still don't get it... what were the other accounts?

I've been talking to him on MSN. He claims he might have made a few extra accounts when he first joined because of confusion over registration.

You would think that if a Mod noticed that another account had been opened for 5 years without being accessed they would not ban the user for being a sock.

I would think.
