Doing your job would mean you would ban the sock in a reasonable time frame from when it was made, not 5 years later and an account that's been inactive for 5 years. Then again, sock checkers are made by simpe minded programmers so...

Don't you get send a mail when one of your accounts gets banned? So wouldn't he know which account was the other one?

I'm not sure though, maybe ask someone who has some experience in getting banned... youknowwhoyouare.
