Keep on being tolerant if you want....

'The painting made me do it.'

OK, maybe thats the worst defence on Law and Order ever..... 😬

'I got pissed off at a painting's debasement of females and so I cut off a womans hands while she was alive.'

They should have gone with an Insanity defence imo. 😐

Keep on being tolerant if you want....

There's a difference between logical and illogical tolerance...

Is that not an insanity defense?

They were going for 'extreme emotional disturbance'. She patroned the painting so he waited for her with a gun then when he saw her he just got really pissed and butchered her. But the guy seemed like a loony to me.

Extreme emotional disturbance IS an insanity defense.

Oh.

An insanity defense indicates that the defendant was unable to differentiate between right and wrong at the time of the crime, which extreme emotional disturbance/distress is rather explicit about.

Would extreme emotional disturbance fly with a pre-meditated crime?

No, that would be a complete contradiction. Pre-meditation requires planning and the very definition denies the existence of extreme emotional distress, which is a spur of the moment thing.

Are ApolloCloud and Neb (and Aede Madavan) the same person out of curiosity?

Neb has created hundreds of accounts. So yes. Although you already knew that. 😛

Thought so. Got this weird PM which it would probably be in my best interests not to share. 😂

Was it this...

Good morning. I have a proposition for you. A mutually beneficial proposition that if agreed by you will propel the two of us into the two most powerful members on this forum.

I used to be a member here, that frequented the video game forum. I cannot create a new account and have it post there with the same views, as it will be swiftly banned every time I try. A combination of the age of the account, being a new one, and the similar views to that of a banned member, is all that they will deem is required in thinking the accounts are the same and banning it.

Which is where you come in. A long time and well established member of a different forum, that the moderators will clearly not identify as me, even if sharing the same views that I did, you are not someone that will be suspected as being me. What I propose is that I occasionally get to send you stuff via private message which you can then post publicly in the forums.

What do you get out of this, you ask? You may use my account in the same manner. While you may use your account in whatever manner you wish I'm sure there are a few things you might want to say, but wouldn't be willing to, in case it damages your reputation or possibly puts your account in danger of being banned. I will allow you to do the same thing that I plan to be doing.

This proposition will give the two of us unparalleled power on these boards, beyond even the moderators themselves. The ability to use two accounts as you wish with absolutely no risk of being caught is a powerful thing.

Why yes it was. 😄

That's what I figured. Hoo hah

Could extreme emotional distress possibly be prolonged though, and not just in the moment?
