Well we'll see about that when I watch it tomorrow. 😎

Though from what I hear, probably. 🙁

You haven't seen it yet? How could knowingly not see in theaters one of the best movies ever made?

And all you classicists can f*ck off, The Graduate sucks.

Inception was very light science fiction, though.

I'd rank District 9, as a film, better than Revenge of the Sith. ROTS had more impact simply because it was part of the Star Wars brand...

I don't have the money to go to the cinema. 🙁

Oh god summer camp flashback. I don't wanna be a star, not like this!

Seriously, how can anyone think physically human wizards can stand up to lightspeed, invulnerable, continent lifting Superman? Its insanity.

Hyper loyal idiots.

Seriously though, Skyline was messed up. It wasn't a bad movie just...Messed up...Unexpected. Anti cliche...

wizards can beat superman? I am going to use a bad word. And I am going to use it because it was created for him. And rex, I am sorry. : (

But he is a f*a*n*b*o*i....

Nothing else can be gained by going there.
Though they do have posters there....

and Red, you ARE going to tell your future roommates at Harvard about us, aren't you? I mean, you have 250 words... one little ol' sentence about us.. i'm thinking...

Since when are HP Wizards "physically human"? You should really read those books or watch some of the movies. Getting hit by lightning (seen in "Prisoner of Azkaban"😉 or diving a flying broomstick into the ground with full speed (120 mph, can be found in the Quidditch World Cup final scene in the "Goblet of Fire" book) would lead to the death of regular human beings. For teenage HP wizards, this appears to be some minor inconvenience.

Since they have human reaction times and speeds. I'm unconcerned with matters of durability or cartoonish survivability to things that should logically have killed them. They're never stated to be anything other than human in every physical regard. Or at least not so much as they'd be able to stand a millisecond in battle with Superman. Plus I seem to recall that firebolts have a automatic super-fast braking charm on them, so he wouldn't be going full out when he hit and even then he still needed a team of mediwizards to heal him.

And I may actually need to re-view these books and movies because I havn't the foggiest about what you're talking about with the lightning and wiki doesn't reveal anything either.

Also, I may soon be getting my first warning. I was rather short with RJ in my reply. Though in my defence theres only so many times you can type 'No Prep' and have him completely not understand what that means before you start to get pissed. Yes clearly having no prep will allow the wizads to consult the hall of prophecies before the fight, have Trelawney (the worst prophet ever) predict the fight and then they can prepare for the fight. Because clearly thats what no prep means right?

oh no wait thats the opposite of what it means. oh well. 😐

I think you're fighting a lost cause. RJ probably thinks a wizard could beat Goku at the end of DBZ.

IIRC DragonBall did have some movies. I may test your theory Slash. 😖hifty:

Happy 21st birthday to me.

Oh crap, I was going to say something earlier but RJ-****ery distracted me.

So yeah, Happy Birthday mate. Sorry for ze lateness. Have a good one and hog all the cake.

I can finally drink legally although for some reason that doesn't feel all that exciting.

How far basketball has fallen. The new NBA symbolizes the new retarded generation. How I miss the 80s-90s.

On another note, I STILL can't believe they made a Godfather III.

In short: No. They don't.

Legilimency allows them to predict the actions of enemies accurately, because they can simply read their thoughts. They can do that with a higher accuracy than Jedi, which should give them the same "superhuman reflexes" in combat scenarios - even better ones, if you think about it.

Human speed? Nope. The movies equipped them with the ability to "half-apparete" (turning them into these black or white smoke clouds) a form in which they are capable of outrunning broomsticks (120 mph+). Rewatch "Order of the Phoenix" and have a look at Voldemort appearing in the Ministry of Magic. You can see his head in a normal state, while the rest of his body is in the "cloud form".

They're never stated to be anything other than human in every physical regard.

Except the constant denial of the idea that Harry's parents could have been killed in a car crash and the fact that Neville's uncle Algie tried to put him into grave danger, just because he wanted his magic abilities to show up. The climax of the latter was dropping him from the first floor, which made him bounce through the garden like a rubber ball.

That's just in the "Prisoner of Azkaban" movie. It happens during the Quidditch Match in which Harry is attacked by dementors. He follows the Snitch high in the sky and you can see the Seeker of the opponents (Hufflepuff I think) getting hit by lightning and dropping from his broom.

Technically, a Wizard with a time-turner wouldn't need to care about "prep time". And a sufficient powerful Wizard could probably just summon a pile of Kryptonite out of nowhere with a mere thought (Dumbledore in "Goblet of Fire" summons a complete stone stage on one of the side walls of the Great Hall). That would kind of stop Superman from blitzing them, wouldn't it?

😉
