I haven't enjoyed an HBO show so much since Rome.

Pretty cool for a Revan ripoff.

I believe this is one of the sith on the dark council.

I wonder what he was thinking about when he told his tailor to include massive spikes on his shoulders.

'This is gonna be totally metal!'

Notice how the "True Sith" have been shown to wear Revan's armor. Darth Marr is no exception, other than the spikes of course.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why. He took his armor from some random Mandalorian chick... It wasn't given to him by the True Sith. So are the True Sith honoring him or what?

Ares, I believe that's the case. From all the cut scenes on swtor, it looks like they held him in high regard. Or bioware doesn't know how to properly deal with continuity.

$10 says there will be no explanation. It's the designers and marketers trying to appeal to KotOR fans with Revan's image, and also trying to target traditional fans by including an "Empire", Darth Vader Malgus, a Sith Emperor, Moffs, Stormtroopers, Star Destroyers, Alderaan, Republic Troopers who look suspiciously like Jango Clonetroopers etc.

If they had avoided a blatant ripoff of the most popular Star Wars incarnations and actually applied themselves to originality, then The Old Republic project would actually be pretty cool and worthwhile. But as it is, I'm frankly not interested in being disappointed by a rehashed money-grab.

100% agreed

I actually just realized i've been doing nothing but trolling this forum for pretty much a year....

Yeah we know. Grow up already and start debating Star Wars like a contributing member of society.

there is something wrong with that sentence, but I can't quite put my finger on it....

It's the sentence fragment.

Wait..

Damn it.

Time to serious this thread up a bit.

I looked at that picture just as some serious heavy metal started playing over the speakers. That was some serious shit.

I know he's a fellow Canadian, but I'm still saddened by this.
