Well Cas really didn't outwit Crowley, I mean even Crowley doesn't break a deal and he is a demon. No one would really expect an angel to do so. I still think it is safe to say the Crowley is still cleverer.

I'd say he outwitted Crowley; he surrendered the dog blood to Crowley, who assumed it was legitimate. Castiel had screwed him over already, I don't see why he'd assume he wouldn't here.

But the god storyline... Yeah, that's going to be ridiculous regardless what happens.

You can expect that old!God will be involved.

Or Death who claims he will "reap" God.

Good point.

N, you want a great villain? Go watch Serenity and pay close attention to the Operative. In terms of motivation or a 'compelling theme', he blows the likes of Palpatine and the Joker out of the proverbial water.

I miss Mark Pellegrino's Lucifer.

I have, about 3 times. He's a good character and I really like his motivation etc, but the Joker has him beat fair. The problem with the Operative is that he gets outsmarted nigh constantly throughout the movie and also he just isn't as well acted or had the same level of charisma as Ledgers Joker did.

Strength (La Force)
The Daughter of the Flaming Sword

Card Number: 8
Key Number: 19
Rulership: Leo
Hebrew Letter: Teth
Translation: Serpent
Numerical Value: 12

Divinatory meaning
Upright - Courage. Self control. The virtue of Fortitude. The power of love. Control of passion against one's baser instincts. Determination. Generosity. Strength and power under control. Energy. Optimism. Generosity, resolve and reconciliation.

Ill Dignified or Reversed - Power wrongly used. Defeat. Lack of willpower. Feelings of inadequacy. Pessimism. Surrender to unworthy impulses. Tyranny. Concession. Inability to act.

Lucifer was a joke. Crowley was easily the best villain since Alastair. In my opinion, of course.

I don't understand you at all. I need an Essential Guide to Nephthys and the Sexually Confused if we are to ever discuss villains. haermm

This is actually scary in how accurate is in...

No, it's not. Astrology is as general as it can get without sounding as utterly meaningless as it truly is.

How many people pride themselves on their optimism? Their energy? There are entire philosophical positions based on "control of passion." This just takes certain broad (positive) traits and hopes that at least one of them from each category will apply to you.

sometimes i read teh horoscopes in newspapers and just laugh. It's like really? That's as specific as you can make it?

I, in a landmark moment, decide to finally watch an anime on my own volition.... and Death Note is apparently available on Netflix only in Japanese.

I thought he was intresting. And Pellegrino did an amazing job playing him.

But Azazel is still my favorite villain.

But Azazel is still my favorite villain.

But he's pure evil, as are all other Supernatural demons!

Spoiler:
You want compelling villain motivation? I refer you to Zachariah.

Sure, but he had class. I liked how he talked, I liked his humor, and I liked his goals. Plus he was creepy and downright scary and the way the show built him up was fantastic.

Divinatory meaning
Upright - Disruption. Conflict. Change. Sudden violent loss. Overthrow of an existing way of life. Major changes. Disruption of well worn routines. Ruin and disturbance. Dramatic upheaval. change of residence or job sometimes both at once. Widespread repercussions of actions. In the end, enlightenment and freedom.

Ill Dignified or Reversed - Negativity. Restriction of desires and imprisonment. Less sever forms of the above. Drastic change that may rob the individual of freedom of expression. Sometimes bankruptcy and imprisonment. more usually imprisonment within a set of circumstances which cannot currently be altered. Sudden changes out of one's control. Less sever forms of the above.

I found the presentation of both characters to be phenomenal. Crowley's entertaining, well-acted and certainly stands out in the upper echelons of the host of Hell (the hellhound card helps) but the sense of creeping evil Lucifer and Alastair exuded was chilling in a manner not found in any other character in the series.

Make Neon Genesis Evangelion the first one you watch; Death Note's ok but it's not a particularly great anime to introduce you to the medium.

Don't listen to Neb, Evangelion will only freak out your poor noob mind. Death Note is a fine start.
