I have read the Revan excerpt from Star Wars Insider 127.Revan and Canderous are on some frozen Hothlike planet where they meet up with some Clan Ordo leftovers. Revan is hiding the fact that he's a Jedi as to avoid angering the Mandalorians. The canon version of Revan apparenly took Two Weapon Fighting, since Revan uses dual blaster pistols. The two of them are trying to find Mandalore's Mask.
They meet the leader of this Ordo camp where Revan trades insults with her in Mandalorian. That's it.
The writing is... well it's Drew. Revan comes off as being... well IDK, there wasn't a lot to work with. He kind of reminded me of one of Luke's Jedi or Luke himself.
His dialogue is probably less refined and more casual than what I had in mind, that's for sure. It's not terrible. It's clear that Revan has a sense of humor, even from things in-game like "meatbag", but without a voice and a face to form the words on paper, the dialogue can come off as unusually non-serious. Must try to think of Revan having a Coruscanti accent, I suppose.
