I saw it yesturday and I loved it!! Phoenix kicks @ss big time. Her face is so scary famke did a great job. I also love how beast kicks @ss when hes fighting. The only thing that bothered me was how rogue had a small part in this one. I wanted her to get upgraded oh well. Storm kicks a$$ also. Hurray 😄

Oh men. This movie has made its own X-Men version. Well, it's new. And what's wrong of being "new"? gambit2I admit, I also felt the pain. Just imagine, six X-Men against the forces of Magneto plus the Morlocks? And look at the faces of Kitty, Bobby, and Rasputin... they were not so sure if they can survive.
Dude, analyze that. Was the plot really sucked? I never thought so. It was just right. It would be more sucked if they copied it from the comics while the first two movies didn't. But there are resemblance as I hope you noticed.
Best thing with X-Men movies are... they end them with a surprise. A hint of a sequel.
Did Cyclops really die?
Did Professor X die too?
Has Rogue and Mystique totally cured?
Did Magneto ever lose his power, too?
..or was the Cure really injected to him?I never thought so.
Jean Grey died. Yes, apparently in X2. But whom did Wolverine killed? Was that Jean Grey. Of course, no. That was her replica used by the Force since the original Jean Grey was still there in the healing cocoon down the Bay ... alive.
For me the Cure was for temporary. So there's hope for Rogue and Mystique.
Did Cyclops die? He was just lost. Maybe somebody took him away. Analyze this, Storm and Wolverine discovered the body of Jean unconscious. Why that so? Maybe there was a fight? A fight between her and those who "rescued" Scott. Is it impossibe if it was Madelyne Prior, the Matermind, and the Helfire Club?
How about the Prof?
Well, we had witnessed that Charles was bown up by the Dark Phoenix. Isn't it possible that maybe it was just his clothes? And where is Prof's body? Maybe Jean Grey can tell.
Magneto. Have you seen a chess piece moved? Well, Magneto always surprises the X-Men, he can do it to us. Was he really injected with the Cure? What can Magneto ever do with a metallic needle of the Cure? And, hey, he also loves to act... to deceive.
gambit2
alrighty!
Jean....their actually MIGHT be a chance of jean not being dead, like if they decide to take the whole clone/mr. sinister spin on it, then it is a possibility, and just the fact that she's jean grey and never dies could also play in. so that IS a good point you brought up, but as for the other ones.........
cyclops.....is dead. they didn't find a body cuz jean friggen blasted him into bits. she was unconcioness because of the amount of power she used probably, or maybe the emotional connection she had to scott finally hit her and she passed out. i dunno, but what i do know is that scott's dead. james mardsen skipped over the superman franchise, so they needed to get rid of his character. don't expect to see him again.
Why would jean demoleculerize prof. x's clothes and not him?? obviously with the scene after the credits prof body is gone, but his mind is still alive in that brain dead guy. so prof x is KINDA still alive.
Then im gonna tie in the rogue and mystique question to the magneto question. magneto took the cure......there's no doubt he didn't. he could move the chess piece at the end because he is stronger then the cure, his powers are not completely gone. the cure obviously doesn't work. if he didn't take the cure, it would've been a lot easier for him to move that chess piece then it was. that being said, since the cure wore off on magneto, it's bound to ware off on rogue, mystique and anyone else who took it. just give it time.
People keep trying to ask really confusing and impractical questions thinking that there's probably a bazillion little plot twists that took place in X3 but no one knows about them. no, Brett Ratner made a pretty simple movie and it's pretty simple what happened. there are a few questions that still stand, but i can guarantee Ratner isn't an x-men genius enough to make all these crazy twists. what you see is what you get, no hidden doors. deal with it
Okay movie about 6 or 7. Two problems. The characters that they had barely developed n X2 were just barely more developed, and the new ones in x3 were even less developed.
Top Ten problems with this movie
10. Not enough Colossus
9. Too much Storm
8. Juggernaut not coming back in the movie after hitting a wall.
7. Not even a litle bit of Nightcrawler.
6. Not enough one on 1 fights. They should have had Colossus versus Juggernaut.
5.Bryan Singer didn't direct it.
4. Rattner shows that he and his writers have almost no knowledge about X-Men comic book history.
3. Make no mention of the fact that Juggernaut is Xaviers step brother, thefact that he is also not a mutant in the books kinda of annoyed but not as much.
2.Rattner directing it
1.Not eough depth of the plot
There are 6 people I blame for the ruining of this movie. Rattner for not knowing his X history, and because by leaving Superman, Singer decide to leave, which is why I blame Singer, FOX for not just waiting for Singer to finish Superman and instead rushed the project because they didnt want him to help, Marvel Comicsfor letting this sub par film by XMen standards get past them, and two a lesser extent Matthew Vaugn, who would have done a better job than Rattner but quit because of the shooting schedule, butbhe did make the briliant decision of Hiretng Gramer and Jonres. and Halle Berry for demanding more screen time.
Ok let's clear this up for Magneto:
We've seen Magneto get injected with 4 cure darts courtesy of Beast. However, we do not know if those were the cure darts Magneto had in the forest with him when he was giving the speech about fury that this world has never witnessed. For all we know he might have switched the cure darts with decoy darts. So in fact he may still have his powers. As for Xavier, we all know he's still alive after the end credits, this time the whole body is paralyzed, not just his legs. So we might see an X4 movie. Hopefully they'll introduce Apocalypse and Cable.

I agree with Lighthammer. They did show a little too much of Storm and Nightcrawler should have been included.
I can't believe you guys are complaining about too much Storm when Wolverine dominated the first 2 movies and only now has kind of went down a notch in screen time.
You'd think one be thankful that someone else besides Wolverine got more Screen time.
And compared to the first 2 movies Storm deserved some more Screen time.
You go Halle Berry.
is it comprehensible.....
Even Hugh Jackman wanted more of Storm in the movies. Even during the first one.
Interview piece:
"SHH!: Were you pleased that you and Halle were able to work together more on this film as Wolverine and Storm became closer?
Jackman: Well, I feel very close to Halle, because this is my fourth movie with her. I really think she's an amazing person and actress and I'm really proud of what she's achieved. Yes, we are closer, but we were already close. When you're friends, you're friends. It was great for me to have more to do with Halle, and I had been asking for that on the first two. It's a good dynamic as well cause they're both strong characters."
is it comprehensible.....

My complaint is not that Wolverine dropped in screen time, my complaint is that Storm got too much screen time, nothing against Halle Berry, two reasons why she should have gotten less screen time. Because of the time restraint they were on, any possible increase in time in the minor character's roles such as Colossus and Angel had to be lessened, and because of this Colossus has only two lines in the film, two is because almost all of the big lines she gives are so predictable I was corectly guessing what she would say a lot of the time in the theater.

Good points. It's not a good idea to believe anyone is dead until they find the body. And even then it might not be thier body. I've seen too many characters faking their deaths.
I hope that dumb cure isn't permanent.
There was no fiery pheonix force evident. Even though there is a bird shape at the end of X2. i thought this was strange. You know i think because of changing directors some of the story was mixed up.
Man i'm rippin' this movie even though i liked it...Ok something positive.............................................. KITTY PRYDE!!!!
