I have never seen this scene before, it definitly wasn't in the movie as storm doesn't fight a crowd in the final fight, she starts to fly and then calisto zooms to the top of the building and then jumps on storm and they have a battle. Why has all the good scenes that would have made this a better film been cut out?

Cyclops shouldn't dead,
he should
ALIVE ✅

OMFG i just got back from the movie theaters and Jean what a total B*tch! holy crap she like kills every one in the movie. and when the "phoenix" comes out to play i thing u better high tale it out of there...she scared me he looked scary to!

Well since there is not really a review thread I'll post mine here.

As for character, a ton of them were not handled right at all. Callisto, Psylocke, Rogue, Colossus, Juggernaut, etc. The movie just didn't translate them well from the comics to the screen. I'm glad Gambit wasn't put in this movie, because I know Ratner would've done him completely wrong.

Wolverine got a little less time that I expected but Storm got a little more. IMO she finally fit into the look of her character but she is too much of a nice girl to pull Storm off. Halle was wrong for the part to begin with and I wouldn't have paid her more money to stick around for a third installment and only watch her half-ass her job. But I don't want to turn this into a Halle Berry bashing post...

Some characters were actually done right. Kitty, Phoenix, Mystique, Magneto, and Beast are the ones that stick out in my mind.

The one thing I was Marjory disappointed with was the final battle. It was incredibly anticlimactic, and it could've been a team effort to kill Jean. NOT a Wolverine solo act.

One question keeps bugging me though. Why did they spend so long casting Angel when he had no more then 5 lines to act?

My final verdict for the movie would be a strong 7/10 if I weren't a huge X-fan. Being a huge X-fan I give it a 5/10.

No matter how many lines Angel had, you still want to get the casting right for the role, especially if they plan on doing a sequel.

Would you have preferred a short hairy woman to play Angel instead just b/c of the amount of screen time.

There are no small parts, just small actors.

is it comprehensible.....

They did show that scene in the movie trailer though.

you make good points

I just wanna say what I thought about the movie...
The good:
-The fight scenes in this 3rd installment were waaay better than those of the original 2
-Wolverine got a slightly smaller role
-Storm got a bigger role
-The portrayal of Pheonix was much better than I thought it would be

The bad:
-Okay, seriously: by the middle of the movie I wanted to smack Wolverine. Didn't anyone else find him extremely annoying? All he does is whine about Jean the whole time. He's been at the X-mansion for how long? And he's crying like a sissy because he's in love with her? Didn't anyone else notice that in this movie (and all the others) he's had waaaay more chemistry with Storm than he's ever had with Jean? I mean, she's not even his girlfriend! Speaking of which...
-They actually killed off Cyclops?!? Are you kidding me?? I mean, don't get me wrong, I hate Cyclops. But if anyone in this movie should have been crying and professing their love for Jean it should have been him! This should have developed the relationship between Jean and Cyclops. But nooooooo! It has to be Jean and WOLVERINE. Because everything always has to be about Wolverine even when it should be about someone else.
-Pheonix is basically a goddess. Prof. X couldn't stop her, but Wolverine manages to kill her by stabbing he in the stomach? I didn't buy that. Sorry.
-Of all three movies made, this one has the weakest, most indistinguishable plot
-Why introduce so many new mutants when they are barely used?
-Even with her expanded role, Halle still made a poor Storm imo
If I were to grade this movie, I would give it a 6/10. But in direct comparison to the previous two, I would give it a much lower grade. It just felt off and rushed.

So what is it supposed to be? Get madly in love with Storm? The fact is, Wolverine loves Jean... that's all.

Actually, the first two movies emphasized the attraction of Wolverine to Jean... it would be odd if it went off in the third installation.

Because Jean is letting him. Is it a problem? The two characters had only shown that LOVE is actually stronger than any power on earth.

Because of additional characters... plot changes.

To excite the X-Men fans... it might be the only chance to see them on silverscreens.

IMO, Halle did a better Storm.

6/10 is a good rate.

gambit12 mon ami

Jury has a better point then you katie i mean it did have it's weak spots but for me the movie seemed kinda fast-paced.

Those are awesome points Jury! It was Scott's love for Jean that killed him, Wolverine's love for Jean and Jean's for the world that killed her (she begged). Best part of the movie... as sad as it was. Always hope for another... three blades to Mystique's belly and she came back. I bet the Phoenix could take six!

Mystique never left.

I still don't understand why psylocke was evil.I can understand spyke becuase he was with the morlocks in the comic and thwrite use that in the movie but why psylocke

was spyke even in the comics?? on the x-men evolution DVD the producer said they made him up.

no he was in one of the comics like x-factor so something or i could be wrong.I still wanna know why my fav Psych was bad

dunno, same with quill though.

The bad this is they killed them both.I think the director was an fool to use them as evil.while he could have used less known x-men.ok Quill i didn't know about but still feral would have be good

I guess they just wanted to include so many extra mutants that they had no choice but to include them in the group with Bad mutants, b/c they couldn't focus on a lot of mustants and if they made them good then they'd have to team up with X-Men and then they'd get more screen time and dialogue and they didn't want them in there for that, they just wanted them in there for show it seems and to include them in a group in a background with no dialogue or anything and hardly no screen time was the easy way out.

is it comprehensible.....

bad idea to just put in as many mutants as possible. psylocke is a big character in x-men so im surprised he (singer) lumped her in with the bad guys and gave her 0 lines.

Singer?

is it comprehensible.....

oops meant ratner.
