man i loved that bit it why would they leave it out, it made most people laugh at the cinema i was in.

Everybody laughed at mine also.

I wonder how the mood would have changed if the girl playing Kitty was still there when he said it, b/c right as he was saying it she ran off through another wall.

I liked that line too. And I'm not sure if this happened in other theaters, but I saw the movie twice, and at each showing each time he says the first part of the line I could hear the kids in the audience cheer, and then when he adds the "b****!" part I suddenly heard some of the younger ones gasp and they got real quiet fast. Like they realized it's a bad word and instantly froze. I thought that was pretty hilarious lol.

I have read X-Men comics for seventeen years, so I'm a die hard fan. And I'm 35, so I'm not an excitable teenager, either who goes for noise and explosiones.
And I liked X3. A lot.
Lét'2 see.
1. Not enough space for Cyclops? Like he had so much development in the previous movies. The actor wasn't good for the part, he lacked the strengh and "presence" for it. Cyclops was underused since X1, and much more in X2. I love the character, but I deal.
2. The portrait of Phoenix was awesome. Plain scary, and touching in the right moments.
3. Xavier and Magneto portrayed like the faces of the same coin. Xavier has a dark side, too, and he isn't so different from his old nemesis.
4. Beast was great. And when he said "My stars and Gaters" I really jumped in my seat.
5. Wolverine was, again, awesome. And forgive me for being a woman, but he can put flames in the screen. Uff.
6. The fight scenes were great.
7. I think that X3 is more acurate to the comics that the other two. An adaptation can't be literal, but this respect the spirit of a great comic.
I don't think the movie would have been better if Mr. Singer had directed it. Let's face it, he isn't that good with action scenes, and these are X-Men movies, i.e. action packed movies. And he wasn't that great with the character developemen either.
I think don't that the movie it's perfect (and what is), but it's a very good one.
(Please, forgive my grammar and spelling mistakes, but English is not my mother language)
Thank you.

What does Xavier mean Jean is the only Class 5 mutant he's met. Bobby's suppose to be a Class 5 mutant too.

What movie have you been watching?

Bobby? Class 5?

I think ******* not.

is it comprehensible.....

Class 5 is Omega-Level. And IceMan is Omega-Level.

not in the movie

I"m not sure if this has been adressed, but I'm on page six and I really dont want to read all this. Wolverine would not have been able to save her. Other than throwing him into the water and drowning him, crushing him, electrocuting him with some wayward wire, shooting a cure at him or detatching his head, she would have vaporized him faster than he could regenerate. She took out 100's of soldiers in no time, yet the most she could take from him were some patches of skin. Psh. I don't like how they made all three movies all about Wolverine. Personally, I would have liked to see much more of Rogue. I don't see how they could even think about not giving her a bigger part in all 3 movies. She is one of the strongest mutants IMO. I really hope they correct these things if they make a 4th movie. Why so many cliffhngers if a 4th movie isn't planned.

Other than that, this movie was amazing. Scott's death didn't effect me much. Never really liked Cyclops because my thoughts have always been, if he misses and shoots the wrong person, he's screwed. Thats's all

well I watched Xmen 3 for the second time yesterday in a massive cinema with tremendous surround sound, and. I. Loved it!!!

after getting over the first watching, I was pretty bumbed with how it was handled, but the second viewing, I just toroughly enjoyed it. it was very much an xmen comic film, a rather long build up but there was plenty of action that involved the entire team so much more, than just a wolverine movie...

I actually enjoyed wolverine being the main male lead in X3, because there was no cyclops for him to compete with, plus the film wasn't actually focussed on him other than the final scenes with Jean.

it made a lot of sense for wolverine to stand off against jean... ok healing factor on steroids... but it worked...

the cliffhangers were just to say that xmen doesn't just end there, its neverending... X4 would be great but it would really suffer without another male xman i.e. cyclops... cos' it'd just be wolverine and kids. (afterall... beast is chilling with the president now)

anyway I'd say this... if you had mixed feelings about X3 watch it a second time... preferrably getting someone to pay for you... and you'll enjoy it much more!!

Bobby is "class 5" in the comics, but in the fims he only just figured out to freeze his body...

leave it out for X4

people in my cinema loved it... even more so when Kitty called him a dickhead

i thought the 3rd movie was the best out of the 3 and i enjoyed it alot, but i didnt agree with how they used cyclops, rogue and jean..
rogue should have had more of a role after all she is one of the xmen not just a mutant living in the mansion.. as for cyclops and jean the way they were used in the 3rd in my opinion was terrible, i can understand the story line happening but they have completely cut out a popular character (cable) he is none exsistant now.. unless they plan a 4th with some twist in mind..??

I really, really loved X-Men 3. In my opinion, it's even better than the first 2 movies.

I don't really like Scott Summers/Cyclops that much. I think he's really weak (judging from the way he acted on the first 2 movies). Of course all people have feelings and Jean's death really affected him so much, since they love each other and they're engaged, but c'mon, he's an X-Men, and he's supposed to be strong-willed, not sulking in his room or whatever.

I really like Pyro and Iceman in this movie. Pyro's handsome and hot, and Iceman's cute and cool. Haha! And I like Pyro's new hairstyle. =) He looks even tougher there. But I didn't like him when he said that he could've killed Professor with his own hands. That was really mean! =( But I really do hope he (Pyro) is still alive in the next movie to come (if there's still a next one). =)

I would rate this movie a 9/10. I love the Kitty Pryde-Bobby Drake fountain scene. I just love their love team. =) I don't like Rogue that much, sorry. =(

not better than x2, young lass.

Umm...it wouldn't just be Wolverine and the Kids.

If you remember correctly. Storm was there before Logan even showed up and she's supposedly going to run the school now. So it wouldn't just be Logan and the Kids.

And considering how he's not really good with Kids and someone kids would go to with problems, I'd say "Storm and the kids" before I'd say "Logan and the kids".

is it comprehenisble.....

I saw it the day after it came out (5/27/06) it was really great except for the fact that Rogue took the cure. I think she's a stronger character than that. I also think they shoulda made her fly.

I couldn't agree more! the entire time i was watching i was like "i can't believe they're gonna take her powers away." then i saw the end with magneto and i was like "oh everythings cool. so much better." i relaxed a little.

About the flying, the 1st time i saw the it was the one where bobby and kitty land and he says "never do that again." I saw it from a distance and thought it was rogue, and I almost fell outta my chair cus i was so excited then i saw it again and i and i was like "who the h*ll is that??? that's not rogue!!!" my brothert burst out laughing at me, then he's like "well maybe she'll still fly, just not with bobby." needless to say i was both pissed 😠 and disappointed 🙁 that rogue was still on the same power level as the 1st movie

I recently saw this installment over the weekend and I must say, I was disappointed. I had far more complaints than I thought I would. When you walk out of a theater with more things that you didn't like as opposed to what you did like, you know there's something wrong. Here's what I didn't like: Phoenix. She was completely and utterly different from the comics, (I understand it would be hard to pull off the whole cosmic thing, but they could have done a lot better). Secondly, I didn't like how Magneto, Rogue, and Mystique all lost their powers. It hinted at Magneto having them back or at least starting to get them back at the end of the film, but I just really didn't like the fact that they tampered with so many characters. Cyclops died, which I didn't really like. Some of the most interesting parts of the Phoenix arcs in the comics is the interaction she shares with Scott. All she did was kiss him and then kill him immediately. Lame. I didn't like the fact that Xavier died... If you stay after the credits, you will see that his consciousness lived on and was transported to a different body, but come on, you don't need to kill off 2 main characters to impress an audience. The scenes with Storm seemed a little forced at times. Halle Berry stated prior to the film that she wanted Storm to have a larger role, otherwise she would quit. This was pretty evident to me when I watched the film. It seemed like the movie revolved around Wolverine and Storm... not the X-Men. Besides the movie not staying true AT ALL to the comics, there is one more major thing I disliked. They shouldn't have tried to have 2 plots in the movie. They should have either focused on either the Phoenix story or the Cure story. One would have been better, if done correctly and in a good enough depth.
This movie had some good action and it was not a bad film. But... it just wasn't all that great. I think this is partly because of the fact that Bryan Singer didn't direct this one. He seemed to know what he wanted to do with the story/characters and he pulled it off really well. X2 is by far my favorite of the series, followed by X-Men, and then The Last Stand. It seemed as though they tried to cram way too many things into this film without proper coordination and planning.
If you haven't seen the film, and want to, then by all means, go for it. Just don't expect a whole lot, like I did.

I give it a 7/10.
