Wonder Woman/Juggernaut Wedding
It has been seven month since the big news first came about. After all the planning the wedding has finally arrived. It’s a bright sunny day on the mystic island of Themyscira. This was the chosen place of the wedding for a number of reasons. One being that Wonder Woman wanted to be home for her wedding. The second being that some of the friends Cain invited would not be allowed on any other soil without being arrested.
It is early in the morning, and the wedding will not start for many more hours. Diana looks over as the final preparations are being made. She stands in the largest garden on the ancient home of the Amazons. Large festive tents dot this magnificent location. The largest stands in the middle, and has no sides. This one is where the ceremony will take place. Smaller ones are located around it that are being used for various things, dressing rooms, bathrooms, and food areas.
As she takes in the beauty of it all two large figures join her. One is Superman, the other Batman, possibly her two closest friends alive. Many would say they above all others share a common bond. They more than anyone else know the great burden that is in her mighty heart. They wonder whether it can take the brunt of what is happening to her.
They stand in silence for moments; none willing to speak right now, simply taking in the atmosphere. Then the silence is interrupted very abruptly.
“Robin the guests will start arriving shortly, initiate plan You’re the boy that takes jackets and coats stat, Alfred I told you Magnolias to the left of the Roses and to the right of Violets. What has happened to the valet parking, quick we have a code Blue, I repeat code Blue, we must locate Hal Jordan and Ben Grimm!” Batman continues to ramble on with two fingers pressed to the communicator in his right ear, and his left hand holding binoculars up to his eyes. He strides off to continue his management of the wedding.
“You couldn’t have a picked a better person to run the catering of this thing,” Superman says in a sarcastic tone.
“I know I told him that he should quite crime fighting, and turn this into his new job,” Diana replies in the same spirit.
“I must admit though some of the people Cain has invited, I don’t really enjoy the company of,” a more somber Clark says.
Diana refusing to drop the playful tone, “Cain has had some… not nice friends, but they are his friends.”
“Diana I know you are a strong woman, that doesn’t change her mind easily, but something is wrong, and I thi…” before Superman can finish his words Wonder Woman puts a hand to his mouth.
“Please I don’t need you to be Superman today; I just need you to be my good friend Clark. Can you do that for me?”
“Yes, I can”
“Thank you now I have to go start getting ready. Be nice to everyone.” With that Diana walks away to leave Superman to his own accords. He looks around at the large number of people around, when Wrecker from the wrecking crew walks by holding a tray of appetizers, wolfing them down. Superman let’s his head duck down a little and he sighs lightly.
Heroes, villains, mercenaries, and every combination in between begin to arrive at the island in every conceivable way. Good friends, hated enemies all have put aside their differences for this one day. Out in the gardens of Themyscira all manner of strange sights can be seen. Thor conversing with the Wrecking Crew like old comrades. Spider-Man is sitting and chatting with Penguin, Two-Face, and Joker. Although, he doesn’t sound very comfortable being surrounded by the three.
Even Superman comes across an old acquaintance of his. “Hello Lex, I didn’t know you knew the groom.”
“Please Superman; I have employed mister Marko for quite a few endeavors of mine,“ Lex replies.
“Just make sure you are on your best behavior, Luthor,” Superman says in a stern voice.
Lex puts a hand on Superman’s shoulder, “Please, after the fine services the Juggernaut has given me the least I can do is be a good guest,” Lex leans in closer and now whispers the rest. “Besides making appearances like this is good for the image among the fellow riffraff,” he finishes with a sly smile. “Now excuse me I would like to talk with some people more my…. social leanings.” Done with the conversation Luthor takes his leave.
“I can not believe I’m about to say this, but I wish Bruce was here for me to talk to,” Superman says to himself while rubbing his head. “Just remember be a friend, be a good friend.”
A ton of these minor conversations are going on, and overlooking it all is the princess’ balcony. It sits above the gardens looking down so that one can see everything but the people below can hardly say the same. In the shadows hidden from their views, Wonder Woman peers over leaning on her elbows. She has just finished getting her gown on, and awaits the final ceremony in which the vows will be exchanged.
“Diana?” a voices mutters behind her. “Go away,” is the reply Diana gives wishing to be alone.
“Is that anyway to talk to your mother?” Hippolyta, Queen of Amazons asks.
The Amazonian princess doesn’t move as she continues to stares down at the crowd.
“Is something wrong?” The queen asks.
Diana just keeps staring.
“Diana I know us as a people are not accustomed to these things, but I hear people always have doubts at weddings.”
“The Rhino is at my wedding.”
“What?”
“The Rhino is at my wedding, I don’t think I ever pictured my wedding before, but for some reason if I did I don’t think I would have pictured the Rhino in it.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing anymore, mother.”
The Queen comes forth a puts an arm around her daughter. “You have made your choice, now you must put your faith in that choice. I know you are strong, wise beyond your years. You do need to trust yourself, know that until that time I have trust in you.”
“Thank you”
They embrace each other in a hug, when a loud ripping noise can be heard, as Wonder Woman flexed the back of her gown has torn.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.”
Just then a dark shadowy figure appears from behind Wonder Woman.
“I told you Alfred, Magnolias to the left of the Roses, to the left. Diana Hold still” Batman reaches down towards his utility belt and begins to fiddle with a one side. All of a sudden a spool of thread pops out from one of the compartments already pre-hooked with a needle. He begins to stitch up the tear.
“Listen we need cheese apparently the Blob likes them a lot, have Flash run to the closest Kroger, and pick up the little square ones. Also have Dick report to the bathroom with a bottle of Febreeze, there is no telling what will come out of the Blob’s stomach, but we don’t want anyone to behold the power of cheese.”
He finishes up the stitches; ok Code Red is over, tell Firestorm we don’t need him to whip up another dress now. Yeah I took care of it. Alfred to the right of the Violets!” Then as soon as he arrived he is gone.
“How did he do that, Diana?”
Wonder Woman shrugs her shoulders as she gives a nice grin. “He had prep?”
“You know speaking of guys you are always around; I had always though you should have gotten together with that Superman fellow.”
Diana looks at the ground then the ceiling, “Maybe in another story, Mother.”
In a room on the other side another person is dealing with their own dilemmas on the situation. Cain has just ripped his tenth tie in a row. “My boy, ye must learn some control,” someone says in a thick Irish accent. Black Tom comes up to Marko with another tie. Cassidy puts it on this time deciding Cain has had enough of a chance.
“I’m sorry Tom, I’m just a little nervous is all,” Cain speaks while looking in the mirror.
“It’s alright it’s your wedding, it’s understandable that you be a little nervous.”
“It’s not about that Tom”
Cassidy sighs, “I know lad, you’re worried about whether or not you can do the job of being father to this blessed child,”
“Well it’s not like I’m the most qualified. My father didn’t exactly give me the best examples to follow. My past isn’t the nicest; I’ve never been one to control my temper. I’m not the best role-model to follow.”
“Cain ye have been many things over time but I know ye well enough to say this. I’m not the one you should be talking to. That’s why I asked the person you should be talking to come up.”
There is a knock at the door as Tom finishes, “Right on time.” He goes over and opens the door, and a man walks in.
“Brother”
“Brother”
The brief exchange between Charles Xavier and Cain Marko speaks volumes of their troubled past.
“I’ll ye two to talk,” Cassidy says as he walks out closing the door behind him.
“Tom knows me way too well. I suppose he told you about my doubts,” Cain says.
“Yes, Cain he did, and I do think I am do possess the most knowledge on the answer you seek.”
“And so what do you have to say?”
“Cain, you are rage personified. When we first met all those years ago you were a bully afraid of what I was, and would be. You have tried to kill me, and destroy my family many times…”
Xavier stays silent for a second, and then continues, “But on that note you have always been a fighter Cain, especially for what is yours. Your birthright, your identity, your pride, and even your humanity, you do not let that which is yours fall easily. I think you will fight tooth and nail to keep your child from falling. I think that makes you more than ready to be a father.”
“Thank you, Charles.”
Everyone has finally gathered under the tent, the big moment has finally arrived. Cain stands up front and center on the stage waiting for his bride to come. Black Tom Cassidy stands beside while Wolverine, Charles, and Deadpool stand behind him. Hippolyta, stands in front of an alter.
“Ok then I understand the other three but why am I here. I didn’t even think Cain liked me. I thought the whole pouring molten metal thing on him soured our relationship for awhile?” Deadpool asks out loud.
“It’s simple bub, if you are here we can keep an eye on you,” Wolverine articulates his point by having one claw pop out.
“Ok point taken, I’m on my best behavior.”
A loud tapping sound can be heard outside the tent. It continues grow louder. Then it becomes apparent it is many separate noises beating in unison. Twenty large Amazons step through the back of the tent clad head to toe in armor. The source of the tapping is the sound of their spears banging on their overtly large shields. This demonstration is to show that first and foremost these women are warriors. They walk in two columns down the aisle before turning to face each other.. Everyone turns to see the beautiful Diana walk through in the entrance. Her gown flows down to her knees. Her stomach protrudes slightly showing the miracle of life in her belly. He carries a sword in her hand up side down. The Amazons go down on one knee, kneeling before their princess as she walks between them down the aisle.
Diana reaches alter placing the sword in it demonstrating her might. “You think she is trying to make statement with the sword, Cain?” Deadpool asks.
Hippolyta begins the ceremony as Queen she is the only one who can bless this union. “We are gathered here today to see my daughter, and Cain Marko join together in an eternal bond. Before we continue please, if anyone objects to this union speak up.”
Everyone in the crowd raises their hand as high as they can. Then the lights turn off obscuring everything in the crowd except for Batman. He makes a gesture saying, “Please continue.”
“Ok then, do you Cain Marko take my daughter?”
“I do”
“And do you Diana, princess of the Amazons, take this man for yours?”
“I do”
“Then I bless this union in accordance with the will of the gods. You make now kiss.”
Cain moves in to kiss Diana when she slightly turns her head. So they end up kissing each other on the cheek.
After the ceremony Diana, and Cain do the first dance, then move on to talk with various people. Cain is reminiscing Slade Wilson over the job they pulled in Cairo.
“Remember when I pulled your unconscious body away from the bad guys as well as the four hundred tons worth of missiles.”
“I recall I was only knocked out because someone crashed the building on top of us.”
“Hey it worked didn’t it.” And they all start laughing.
Wonder Woman talks with Thor about their battles in the mystical realms of the gods.
“I still remember the look on my brother, Loki’s face as we convinced his army of trolls that there was candy on the bottom of a cliff.”
“Yeah it was priceless, when he was trying to tell Ulik that that there are no Hersey Kisses in Asgard.”
This continues for the rest of the day. Finally the party is done, and people begin to leave. The presents are many, from gold to death rays. They get everything loaded up, and head back to their house. Cain carries Diana through the threshold of their house. Once inside though the tiredness consumes them. Of course they aren’t physically tires, but mentally they are drained.
Heading up stairs they go into their room. Diana lays down on the bed and gets under the covers. Cain removes his jacket as he watches Diana get into bed. He then turns away and heads to the other side of room. He crawls into his own bed as per one of the arrangements of the marriage.

In a high rise skyscraper adorning Cairo's financial district, Magneto converses with a shadowy figure.
"We both want ultimately the same thing, Erik. I'm sure we can both agree that our next step involves the extermination of homo sapiens."
Today
On cerebro, Charles Xavier picks up that the number of mutants is rapidly decreasing in the new york area. Switching on the television reveals a reintroduction of the sentinel program. A team of Havok, Rogue, Gambit, Polaris, Iceman, Banshee and Nightcrawler are dispatched to defend New York.
Approaching Manhattan, the X-jet is shot down by a number of sentinels detecting mutants on board. The X-jet crash lands on the outskirts of central park. Havok covers his teammates with a series of plasma blasts taking down several sentinels.
Iceman travels through central park until he reaches a crowd of sentinels, bearing down upon a young child.
"MUTATION DETECTE-"
The sentinel is unable to continue it's extermination sequence, due to being frozen solid. Polaris sends several sentinels flying into each other, allowing Nightcrawler to teleport innocents from harms way. Rogue is swiftly taken down by a sentinels blast and as the robot looms over her unconscious form, Banshee's sonic scream ruptures it's insides.
Gambit picks Rogue up and begins to run for cover under trees. He leaps over a sentinels energy blast, rolls from a sentinel stomp but he and Rogue are knocked into the side of a tree by a sentinels swipe. Iceman creates a transparent shield that a sentinel smashes with one punch, knocking Iceman to the ground.
Nightcrawler teleports a sentinels head into another but is taken down by an electrical charge from a sentinel. Banshee flies to his friends aid, but a nearby sentinel ejects metal coils from it's hand, binding Banshee and covering his mouth. Havok fires a a blast that cuts through five sentinels but also a tree, which falls on him, pinning him to the ground. Sentinels swarm on him.
Polaris is the last to fall. She takes every sentinel in sight high into the air and smashes them into the ground, crushing them, however more sentinels approach and their superior numbers bring her down
Back at the X-mansion, Xavier telepathically picks up on the team's distress. Cyclops and Emma Frost are about to go and save their friends when the entrance door explodes.....
"I apologise for the hazardous entrance but the situation is dire. I wouldn't travel straight to your teammates aid. It's a trap."
Magneto hovers just outside the X-mansion, above the front lawn, with a look of grave concern.
"Charles, I need your help."

Part 2
The Astonishing Team and Magneto vs The Hellfire Club
At the New York estate of the Hellfire club, alarms sound. Several armed guards run to their posts and several run to the large front door, guns trained on the door. A large red optic blast smashes the door to smithereens and sends guards flying in every direction.
Strolling through the main entrance, Emma Frost and Magneto lead, Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Shadowcat and Beast.
Suddenly Donald Pierce leaps from an indoor balcony landing in the midst of the group. His large cybernetic clawed hands rake Wolverine's face. Logan responds by stabbing Pierce in the gut with both hands. Logan then uses the leverage to flip Pierce over his head and toward Colossus who punches him to the ground.
Emma turns the mind of every guard to mush. Magneto controlling the metal wiring in the walls, rips it free and wraps it round Pierce. Harry Leland steps forward and causes Colossus to increase his density and collapse through the floor.
"Leland? I thought you were dead?" Emma remarks.
"No such luck, Miss Frost." Replies Sunspot.
Sunspot steps forward firing a blast at Beast at point blank range. The extremely hot blast passes straight through Beast's chest.
"Hank!!!!" Scott shouts, knocking Sunspot down with an optic blast. Leland is phased 50 feet below ground.
Beast is unharmed thanks to Kitty's phasing powers. Hank then continues to help Colossus from the floorboards as Shadowcat clotheslines a nearby guard.
"Shaw's in here. I can smell him." Logan pops his claws.
Entering a large Dinning room, Sebastian Shaw stands at the end of a large table, surrounded by armed guards.
"Emma." He remarks.
Magneto answers. "The X-men have misplaced their jet Sebastian. Their colleagues in the.....superhuman community are preoccupied. We need one of yours to halt this sentinel plague."
"Why should I hand over a jet to you?" Shaw responds.
"Because the sentinels are eradicating mutants regardless of their social standing. Do you think a sentinel cares if Sebastian Shaw is a member of the Hellfire club?"
Before the conversation can continue Sebastian charges forward punching Beast into a wall. Colossus attempts a punch but Shaw judo flips him into Emma. She is saved from being crushed by turning to diamond.
"Enough." Logan steps forward, slashing Shaw's throat open. Blood spills onto the carpet. Sebastian Shaw falls to his knees, grabbing his throat to prevent the steady stream of blood.
"We're taking a jet." Wolverine states.
"We'll try to bring it back." Beast smiles.

Cable vs Sentinels and ????
On the outskirts of Berlin lone figure stands in front of a sentinel factory. Checking that it matches the records, he confirms this is the factory responsible for the beginning of the end......of mankind.
Cable's mission begins.
Piloting a Hellfire club jet towards Germany; Cyclops, Emma Frost, Beast, Wolverine, Colossus, Shadowcat and Magneto form an uneasy alliance.
"Why do you need our help Mags, Sentinels are metal robots. That's your specialty." Logan asks popping a claw each side of Magneto's face, scratching his helmet, with the middle claw threatening to pierce underneath his chin.
"I could take down half of an entire sentinel army alone, Logan. However the rest of mutant kind may not be so fortunate. I fight for their safety, as do Xavier's lackeys."
The uneasy journey is interrupted by a large flamebird that bursts through the jet, ripping it in half.
"It can't be her." Beast gasps.
It's not.
Cable enters the sentinel factory through the ventilation system. He knows the area inside out and how to combat the sentinels. His future tech is designed to prevent it's own time line from occurring, which means the sentinels must be stopped.
Unfortunately a nearby sentinel, just off the production line, detects Cable's mutant signature. Ripping open the vents, causing Cable to fall to the ground, face up, several sentinels loom over him with dozens approaching.
Pulling out a futuristic gun, Cable begins cutting down numerous sentinels. He rolls away form a sentinels fist as it punches the ground where it stood. Running up it's arm onto his head, Cable uses the platform to blast several sentinels. Dozens and dozens of sentinels pour forth, straight from the factory production line, firing at Cable. Nathan leaps from the sentinels head as an energy blast knocks it clean off.
Sliding under many sentinels he shoot one in the crotch, blasting a hole. He attaches an electromagnetic pulse weapon to a sentinel taking it and dozens of surrounding sentinels down. Unfortunately a sentinel grabs Cable and raises him up, crushing him in it's giant fists. Cable manages to break free using his techno organic arm as leverage.
Running away from the robotic army, Cable enters the core programming room where numerous machines regulate the sentinels programming, set to destroy all mutants.
A familiar face steps forward from the shadows. Bastion. Before Cable can react, Bastion fires an energy blast that hits Cable knocking him back. The force of the blast sends Cable down several floors through the metal flooring. Bastion slowly pursues.....
Meanwhile the X-men and Magneto emerge from the crashed jet, unharmed thanks to Shadowcat. They are just outside the borders of the factory, but they are surrounded.

Part 4
The Astonishing Team and Magneto vs Mystique, Sabretooth, Toad, Pyro, Blob, Juggernaut and Avalanche
"TRAITOR!!" Mystique shouts, aiming her gun at Magneto. "Siding with the Xavier brood!!!!!"
"Raven, I have done no such thing, we both want..."
Magneto's sentence is cut short by Avalanche who flicks the nearby ground up like a rug, sending Magneto flying towards the sentinel factory.
Sabretooth leaps towards Wolverine from behind, but he is knocked into the side of a tree by an optic blast. Sabretooth is back on his feet, charging at Cyclops.
Pyro generates a huge bird of flame and sends it flying at Colossus who withstands the extreme heat of it's raking talons. Shadowcat phases from the ground behind Pyro and rips his flamethrower off. Defenceless Pyro attempts to flee but is taken down by a punch from Colossus.
Blob attempts to crush Shadowcat who runs straight through him. Colossus tries to punch Blob but his fist sinks into fat. Wolverine comes to Colossus' aid, slicing the back of Blob's legs, causing writhing agony to the obese mutant.
Magneto floats above the sentinel factory roof, unharmed. Smiling he rips the large roof open and floats down to the central programming room, casually swatting the occasional sentinel aside, magnetically. Magneto uses his powers to rewrite the central programming unit for the sentinels....
Wolverine runs through the woods cutting branches aside, heading towards the factory. His path is blocked by Juggernaut. Before Cain can attack Logan, Emma Frost steps forward and allows her diamond hands to punch Cain again and again. To no effect.
A red dot appears on the side of Logan's head. BLAMMM!!! A gunshot sounds, blasting Logan and knocking him to the ground. The bullet ricochets off his adamantium skull, concussing him.
Toad bounces towards Beast flicking his tongue. Beast grabs Toad by the tongue and swings him into Avalanche. Avalanche gets to his feet but is punched to the ground by Kitty.
Sabretooth runs amongst the trees evading optic blasts. Kicking off a large branch he leaps through foliage towards Cyclops, but he is tackled in mid air by Beast.
"YOU CAN'T HURT ME McCoy!!! I HEAL!!!" Creed shouts, tumbling to the ground.
"Correction, my feral opponent. I can still hurt you." Beast remarks, hanging from a branch he grabs Sabretooth with his feet, throwing him into a tree that collapses on the villain.
Emma fights a losing battle with Juggernaut until Kitty phases his helmet off and Emma knocks him out Telepathically. Wolverine gets to his feet and attempts to stab Mystique who ducks. She attempts to shoot Logan who slices her gun in half. Colossus raises Mystique off the ground and throws her to the floor.
Emma telepathically subdues the old brotherhood team. Reading Mystique's mind she gasps;
"Oh No. Scott!!! Magneto planned this!!! He kept an eye on us through a supposed alliance and he removed himself from this battle so the brotherhood could stall us."
"Stall us from what?" Asks Beast.
At the Sentinel factory a magnetic pulse overrides the central sentinel programming. Commanding the machines through the main computer, Magneto changes their prime directive from the extermination of mutantkind to the extermination of mankind......

Juggernaut/Wonder Woman Part 5 - The Plot Thickens
It is said that in space no one can hear you scream. On a spacestation though screaming comes in loud and clear. As is the case through the JLA orbital headquarters.
A voice can be heard throughout every nook in cranny of this special place. Reporters, other superheroes, and billions of people watching, listening to the broadcasts almost have their eardrums popped as they wait in the conference room.
The source originating these siren screams is none other than Wonder Woman. Nine months ago she became pregnant from the super-human power house known as the Juggernaut. Exactly twenty-four hours ago she went into labor. Now the whole world sits awaiting for the chance to see the child.
In another section of the space station another type of action is taking place from quiet refined waiting in the conference room. It is the hustle and bustle of a delivery room specifically designed for the Amazonian Powerhouse. Wonder Woman sits on a reinforced bed as dozens of robots, heroes, and nurses run around her trying to keep her steady. There have already been six destroyed hyper-machines, fourteen broken noses, and a host of bruises occupying the brave souls in this room.
Unmentionable muscles contract inside Wonder Woman causing the entire room to shake. The Flash runs around trying to do his best to keep everything in order. Jonnz, Martian Manhunter, does his best to keep everyone organized and on task. The delivery is drawing close,and then the person designated with the delivery comes out of the shadows to finish everything.
Batman is decked head to toe in white garments including a breathing mask over his face. "Ok then everyone this is the moment, brace yourselves for the worst. We have just been through twenty four hours of hell. Let's finish this, and deliver a baby."
He steps cautiously towards the table. Vixen puts two rubber gloves on each hand. "Ok then Diana breath."
She does as Batman instructs, and pushes as hard as she can. Cain Marko is standing next to her as one of the only people able to take her abuse. He keeps telling Wonder Woman she is doing fine. Diana keeps telling him something along the lines of die pig. The scene is beautiful from all angles.
Then the baby is out, and Bruce announces, "It is a healthy baby girl." Then another sound is heard as Diana continues to push even after the baby is out. Batman quickly hands the girl to Black Canary as utters, "She is having twins quick Jonnz get another crib ready."
It takes another couple of minutes but finally the second baby is out. "It's a unblemished boy."
"Would you like to cut the cord Mr. Marko."
Batman hands Cain Marko a pair of adamantium scissors. He takes them and in one snip cuts both of the babies umbilical cords. The babies are cleaned up and wrapped in blankets and handed back to their mother.
"So then what shall be their names?" Batman asks.
"Her name will be Hippolyta," Diana says with a smile.
"His name will be Kurt, Jr," A very somber Cain replies.
In the conference room the news hits that twins have been delivered and everyone starts to cheer. After a few hours Wonder Woman holding her twins is rolled out in a wheelchair by Cain Marko. Their tiny faces being broadcast all over the world.
But beneath this mass hysteria a number of things are taking place. In a distant corner of Earth an old enemy curses Wonder Woman's children. A couple of old friends of Cain paint the town red.
There is even business to attend to in other dimensions, as two beings of frightful power argue over who the children shall pay homage to. Cyttorak, the Master of the Crimson Cosmos, and Zeus, the Lord of Olympus began to bargain for the children's soul. Their conversation is interrupted though by two beings who although not as strong, do not lack in the mystical might department. Doctor Strange, and Doctor Fate come bearing their own terms. They tell the two Gods to leave the children be. Then as if from the blackness dozens of eyes appear behind them. They have called in quite a few favors. Cyttorak and Zeus both know they have no choice and they withdrawal any claim they have to the children.
A different sight takes place outside of the Watch Tower. Two new beings of immeasurable power appear outside the viewing glass of the conference room. Theirs is not to interfere though, it is to observe and mark this occasion as future changing. That is the purpose of Uatu the Watcher, and the Phantom Stranger.
Finally, after what seems like ages the couple are finished answering questions and retire back to their house on planet Earth. Black Tom has come helping Cain with all the stuff he has been given.
Wonder Woman puts the children in their cribs, as Cain and Black Tom sit in he living room talking. All of a sudden an explosion rocks the outside of the house. Alarms begin to sound and the three rush towards the window to see what has happened. Out of nowhere dozens, no hundreds of dark figured beings appear from the sky. A barrage of rockets pour down from the sky, and once again explode on the yard outside.
"Cain get to the kids NOW!" barks Diana.
She quickly grabs a sword from the cabinet, as Cain rushes to stay with the kids in the room.
Wonder Woman and Tom stay perched in the living room prepared to fight anything that comes in.
"Tom watch my back, and make sure noth....." but before she can finish the sentence a large arm emerges from the wall and strikes at Diana from behind. Thanks to her amazing reflexes though she dodges towards the middle of the room. She however can not dodge the huge green fist coming out of the ground hitting ehr square in the back. The shockwave of pain courses through her spine as she is thrown through the ceiling. Diana stops herself from leaving the house though through her power of flight.
At that moment the lights all go out save for a few emergency red lights. The two large figures emerge from the holes they created, as a stream of mechanical humanoids objects pour in beside them like a swarm.
"Tom attack the..." before Diana can say anymore though she sees the door open and the outline of Tom running through the pathway. She doesn't have time to dwell on this betrayal though as she returns to the task at hand. Brandishing her sword she launched herself at the enemy horde. The two large figures, cloacked i nthe shadows, move to engage her while the robots continue to fill the room. She swings widly cuttign anything and everything getting into her path.
Cain stnads at teh doorway making sure nothin gets in as he begans to throw any and every robot back out into the hallways. Then a streak, a blur passes through the house. Wonder Woman would normally see it but she is distracted battling the two behemoths as it passes her. Cain whose senses are not as good barely even feels the being pass by, and in a moments notice the children are gone.
The force begins to withdraw as the downed robots intiate a self destruct sequence. Eventually the house is empty as Cain, Diana are left alone.
"They've taken the kids," Cain's voice echoes.
"We have to go get them quickly," belows Diana. As she begins to quickly put oin her armor. Cain follows suit and puts on his own. He barely has helmet on when Wonder Woman picks up from behind and takes off in pursuit after the kidnappers.
