I was asking if anybody actually thought Nihilus could win this without taking the insta-kill into account.
If he can be held off long enough, he dies. However, I'm inclined to think that if this is right after Katar, raw power decides that fight.

As in, I'm guessing that while normally he is lesser than Palp's, after a sufficient meal he could pretty much dominate anyone and everyone. If you are asking whether a repeat of the Exile's stunt could work, then it depends one whether the Jedi or Sith thought that there was ever any reason to develop counters to Nihilus and whether they would even work.

If however they could or something, then they just need to outlast him and let him consume himself.

Sorry if I'm wrong...but is anybody actually saying that Nihilus would stand a chance if his insta-kill doesn't work?

Yes.

I suspect that what it does could be the theological equivalent of what Dante's lowest level of Hell is. But worse. Instead of just being so distant from God, it is a total cut-off for both ends. Only its absence and former presence indicate it was there to begin with.

That's a really interesting comparison.

Since I feel inclined to point out the obvious, I'll begin with the fact that not one of you infidels has dared to provide an argument that proves or suggests that Nihilus stands a chance in this fight.

He is no match for his Imperial Majesty, the Galactic Emperor Palpatine. And the other foolz.

I assume DS is coming on to me again? I realize that these feelings you're having are confusing, DS, but there are better ways to express them than through negativity. It didn't work in elementary school when you pulled that girl's hair, so why would it work on me?

I find it humorous when people pretend to have someone on ignore, and suddenly become psychic as to what's being said. I give you props for your insecurities RH.

N. snaps all of their necks.

Or, according to TJ, creates a black hole that compresses them into a dot no larger than the Planck volume.

If the insta-kill is excluded, the team wins easily. Any of the team except for Dooku could probably solo.

N. snaps all of their necks.

He can't. Palpatine is more powerful, smarter, more successful, better looking, better trained, better equipped, better endowed, and cooler than Nihilus. This is all confirmed by multiple sources.

And the other foolz are there. So... no.

Are you joking? N. is black. Therefore he's hung like a horse.

I will require proof that he is capable of such a thing. Prove it. Now.

What Nihilus does is not Force Sever. It is something entirely different and more lethal. Force Sever doesn't wound the force itself. It does not cause such incredulous destruction that the Force is simply absent. Force Sever doesn't cause a crapton of hunger. The Jedi never speak of Force Sever it terms of it being a mass-killing device. They only speak of it in terms of stripping the ability to use the force. The removal of "excess" power and connection. All life is connected to the Force, if what you suggested was how Sever worked and what it did, Ulic would have died. We have seen Force Sever be used upon Jedi before, such as what happened to Ulic, and he damn sure survived it. What Sever seems to do is bring down someones connection to the force to 'mortal' levels to the point where they are no more directed and guided and empowered by the force than Han or Jango was.

So..

1. You suggestion that Nihilus' power is Sever is incorrect due to Sever not being lethal, least of all on such a magnitude.

2. Whether or not they could resist Force Sever is irrelevant.

3. Whether or not they could resist Force Sever at all is unproven. Especially if it is a Lightside Technique, which would, AFAIK, render it unusable to Fapatine.

4. Nihilus does something entirely unique to him. It is neither truly a Drain as we understand it, or the sever technique. It is something worse. Far worse. Likley something that scared the shit out of Bane himself. For some strange reason, I doubt that Kreia was using Hyperbole when she described Nihilus as the eventual death of all life, as well as the force. Sure, she wanted to kill the force, but not at that expense.

4. You are being obstinate. You are trolling. Either disprove my claims by demolishing them or acknowledge them or be reported.
