Am i missing something? Whats with all this "standard face" and "combat face"? Aren't they supposed to just have one universal face?

^thats what they are SUPPOSED to have. but we have michael bay here trying to reinvent the wheel, and trying to fix things that aren't broken

edit: i hear alot of people bagging on Singer's Superman Returns, cuz there's no originality in it. He's trying too hard to make it look like the original prequels that there's nothing new about his movie.

What if Michael Bay made the new Transformers movie like a live action continuation of the original movie?
how would you guys feel? the characters and the look are loyal, etc. and updated only slightly.

I would prefer that, i had no problem with Superman Returns.
There doesnt seem to be a good reason to make these drastic changes that i am seeing, after all they must be hoping that the majority of people that are going to see this will be fans of the original Transformers. I cant imagine a story about giant robots being all that appealing to the uninitiated, surely this movie above most others would be one for the fans.

i just read a huge interview from aintitcoolnews w/ shia lebouef(however you spell his name) and he sounds pretty like hyped. keeps mentioning how BIG michael bay is. saying Bay is bringing his A game with the action and stuff. aka some pretty positive words from Shia and some from the interviewer.

Have you guys been keepin an eye on all the drama over there @ Seibertron. I speaking of the site of course not the planet. There's a member there that somehow managed to get into it with one of the producers of this movie Don Murphy and he's sharing his on going argument with him over this film. The funny thing is that this big time Hollywood producer was like totally trashing this guy. I don't understand how this guy had the time and energy to go after a regular fan that just happened to be as disappointed as us. He even went as far as to insult the guys family 😂 This is just too much...I'm including all the pertinent links below. Some of the links to 'Mr. I'm better than the fans who will pay to see this movie Murphy's site don't work. Apparently he took them down so there would be no evidence of the argument but plenty of the other website are quoting what he said to this guy KeonT and he also has Murphy's comments in his blog...

Wow, again it's really amazing to me that this big time Hollywood producer would go out of his way to trash the fans like this. After having read this, I can see that this is really getting out of hand. I mean one thing is for them not to care what we have to say about this movie but another thing is to come after us and attack us for what we believe to be just plain wrong. Seems like they're trying to sort it all out now back @ Seibertron with that Don Murphy guy who actually went out of his way to register an account there too so he could keep arguing with this guy. The argument appears to be continuing on his website as well. Just too funny 😂

Don Murphy is a troll and a flamer, i saw him calling the guy a douche, public relations 101 😂

its amazing how well don murphy can type so well while he has bay's manhood crammed down his throat.

That would be no less than what we had been expecting. The original slant would have been seeing it all, everything we loved made "real" world.

But seriously, looking at it objectively, as we should, he is arrogant in the way he has treated the fans, the franchise and he speaks with WAY too much confidence for a man whos proudest moments were "Double Dragon the movie", "The league of extrordinary gentlemen" "From Hell" and "Natural born killers" (which seems to be his most esteemed credit).

And when he actually admitted that the focus of the movie is purely to make money, that just stuck it in and broke it off for me there...

I had long thought- naively, as it transpires- that is was about money but the guys in charge wanted to make something with at least HALF a soul.... but now...?

^ im gonna guess most of the "intricate/complex" looking pieces will be made into like one piece for the toy while in the movie, those pieces would be individual peices
