well phenomenol i actually agree with you. even though i want to say, be a tiny bit less aggresive. if toriyama didnt say it wasnt canon, then it is. besides why keep the anime out. in fact you can use it as ammunition since you all say the holes are so big in it 😄. it shows more feats even though it is a bit inconsistant. but 1 thing about the anime. GT makes absolutely no sense. AT ALL.

phenomenol if you think about it you'll see what i mean. he's supposed to be stronger than ssj3 yet when his blasts hit the ground they make smaller craters, plus he almost got impaled by a flagpole.

and by the way check the anime im about 99 % sure it says most powerful. oh and by super buu i meant before he absorbed gohan and gotenks

If any anime would be cannon it would be the original japanese version not the crappy english dub where Raditz is faster than light.

no, its because they exxagerrate. dont make stupid comments like because its translated and it has better voices(yes i like english voices better) that makes it worse or changed

give me an actual reason why the anime should be bared. because it has irregularities and unsimilarities to the manga DOES NOT MEAN it isnt canon. if dbz fanboys want to include it why not? you should use it as a source to disprove something.

Goku said something along the lines as, "He's moving faster than the speed of light!" then proceeded to have a stunned look on his face for about half the episode.

Using the anime to argue from is like using the cartoons or movies for other comic books. The changes there are alot more drastic so are alot easier to see how they are different.

This being a comic book forum means that we use the comic books, and manga is merely the japanese word for comic book.

Is DBZ's only chance to win by breaking the rules of the forum? then it goes to show that DBZ never stood a chance if you have to break the rules to pull off a win.

I still dont understand why we cant use the anime...its the most popular form of the DBZ universe and everyone is familar with it. I think this enitire"lets only use the comic book"issue is such freaking bullshit. Plus the DBZ anime isnt like the Superman cartoons which were very, and i mane very inaccurate to the cource material. The DBZ anime is a straight adaptation of the comics...so if anyone has a issue with using it then all i can say is get a life.

Dude, the anime is where most of the exaggeration comes from

at least its not as bad as say the justice league, when superman can barely punch darkside through about what, 9 buildings.

I know, I wish the powerset in the DBZ series could have been used in the JL cartoons caused everyone looked so freaking weak in the cartoons. If we went from the cartoons, Goku could easily sole the entire DC animated unviverse.

i cant imagine a more truthful anime. besides why are we arguing about this? accept the anime so we can get back to the discussion

He could solo a bunch of the DCU but Amazo would kick his ass easily. The only animated version of Supes i could see beating Goku are the version from Superman: Doomsday

No way, Amazo was impressive but he didnt have any feats on the show to put him up with any DBZ characters. The DBZ characters where destroying planets and speed blizting all over the place. Amazo only looked impressive because everyone else in the series was so damn de-powered and jobber-like. I mean a power up sequence from Goku literally left the planet and anything near it shaking from the energy. Goku looked Godlike compared to Amazo and Supes based off there anime counterparts...but yeah we r getting off topic lol. On the same not, doesnt anyone esle think supes looked impressive in the superfriends cartoon lol.

The fact of the mater is that it is a different continuity. there are events that happen in the anime that do not occur in the manga.

What you are argueing for is no different than arguing for being allowed to use The comic book where Wolverine as War killed apocalypse, Magneto, classic juggernaut and countless others.. or the one where he wiped out half the marvelverse... its not canon to the main stream of the comics.

Its not canon. The anime is only canon to itself and not the manga. The manga is what is to be used as this is a COMIC BOOK forum, and its stated int the rules that you cannot use non-canon sources. period.
