Cosigned, Super Buu was so much Goku's superior that he was willing to permanently fuse with Mr. Satan even if it would only present an infinitesimal increase to his chances.

Against Kid Buu, however, Goku could have easily beaten him with the full power of SSJ3 meaning that Gohan or Gotenks could have easily schooled him as well, even quicker and more easily, in fact.

That was after Gohan was absorbed though. He didn't have any problem going to fight Super Buu with Piccolo being the main one.(Unless that was part of the fillers I can't remember anymore) It was Gotenks absorbed, who was even stronger than Gohan and then Gohan absorbed that he couldn't fight. Just because he could fight Kid Buu and live doesn't mean Kid Buu was one of the weakest. I think Gohan or Gotenks absorbed Buu are stronger than Kid Buu but not Super Buu in is weaker forms like base or with Piccolo.

If they could sense Kid Buu's power then it makes no sense that Vegeta though he could take Kid Buu when he first appeared and so did Gokou and they didn't even go past ssj. So Gokou saying he could take Kid Buu if he fully powered up may or may not have been true. I don't even think Kid Buu used all of his power. Not to mention he wasn't loosing any energy at all while fighting Gokou, Vegeta, or Fat Buu.

WRONG!!! The Anime IS in continuity! It is canon.

Unless you show me where Toriyama said that the Anime is in a different dimension from the Manga? you need to be silent because you obviously don't know what the hell you are droning on about.

The anime shows a bunch of pointless filler junk like the Garlic Jr. Saga, Vegeta destroying a planet with two fingers, and Gokou and Piccolo going to take a drivers test. The anime isn't canon at all. It has to much stuff that the manga doesn't.

I am sorry, you have nothing but an opinion. Show me where Toriyama defined the Anime's continuity?

He didn't make it. He gave them rights to do as they wish. They fillers are just the companies own things they wished to do. Just like GT and the movies. Akira had nothing to do with them. Taking away the anime takes away all the fillers that Toei wished to put in that contradict stuff. That is why the manga is used. Nobody uses the cartoons of Superman, or All-Star Superman, or Pre-Crisis Superman. The canon version of Superman is the comic version that is now and the canon version of Gokou is the manga. That is why GT isn't canon. It wasn't made by Akira just what Toei wished to happen.

This is why I know you go off purely YOUR opinion, you don't even know what your talking about.

I: Do you always have in mind the minute details for anime story plans that don't appear in the printed original?

TA: I usually come up with the plans that are supposed to capture the general gist of the story. For example, for the part of an episode that will skip to five years in the future, I create the story line , "These things must have happened within those five years."

Yeah, I can post another interview where Toriyama only says the Movies are out of continuity because "HE BECAME PART OF THE AUDIENCE!"

Will some one just ban that guy already.

Yeah, I can post another interview where Toriyama only says the Movies are out of continuity because "HE BECAME PART OF THE AUDIENCE!"

And I can easily find a interview saying he kept out of the anime and let them do as they wished for the most part.

"I don't tend to interfere with the animator's process. I wanted a fantastic story, so I did tell them that, but the basic production was up to them. I might put in a small word here and there if it really mattered."

And? I just gave you a quote from Toriyama in DETAIL showing how he was involved and he even did the filler.

Anime is canon.

You're interview says he just came up with the general idea of what happened not the whole thing.

And anime isn't canon. It's never been. It's to contradictory with stuff. Vegeta can easily blow up a planet with two fingers at base yet he releases every bit of energy at once and makes only a huge crater after being ssj2? Or they shoot ki blast after ki blast that only make large explosions?

Both are the same interview but it doesn't say if it was from a magazine or what.

Also you're interview says he just came up with the general idea not the whole thing. Toei still had a lot to do with making up the rest.

NO, my interview said he WROTE the storyline for scenes that are not in the manga!!!!!

The Anime is canon!

TA: I usually come up with the plans that are supposed to capture the general gist of the story.

The general idea not everything.

Phenomenol, the Anime is NOT Canon. It never has been. To say that it was or is makes you in error, because it wasn't and isn't and never will be.

The canon version of any DBZ character is in the comics/manga.

He isn't even supposed to be in this thread. Why does he keep coming back?

Because he's a fanboy troll

Sure, Toriyama did some character designs for the filler.

He also did the character designs for Chrono Trigger. Does that make Chrono Trigger canon to DBZ?

In all respects your statement is merely opinion the author decides what ties into canon.

Care to show me where Toriyama said that the Anime is out of continuity? Show me where Toriyama said the anime is in a different dimension?

Otherwise ALL of you have nothing but an opinion.

Anime is IN CONTINUITY and that is fact.

I agree, the DBZ anime is cannon...I dont care what anyone esle says. Obviosuly if Akira objected to anythign he would have stepped in and said something about it.

👆

He didn't object to it. He wanted them to do what they wanted without his imput unless he absolutely was against it. Like the movies and GT and the fillers. It's just easier to keep to the manga and forget all the fillers because they add nothing at all except contradictions. And it's even less credible to use the american version of the anime.

Nope, that is just your opinion, again.
