Well, GT technically IS canon since there is no better source for it. It cant be discluded since toriyama does acknowledge it as a true sequel to DBZ, and since there is no manga for it, then it makes the TV series the default for canon material on that show. So for DBZ the manga's are canon, but for GT the TV show is canon, since we have nothing else.
What is up people? Sorry been training for UFC. Been gone quite for some time. That's pretty cool this thread is still going. Id like to point something out to people. Comic books are GAY! Writers can do just about anything in a comic. For example, AllStar Superman can apparently lift quintillion tons!! 😉 Come on people. How stupid is that? That doesnt even make sense. YOu've got million, billion, trillion, quads, then quintillion! Comic books are gay, and so is Superman! Pre crisis, post crisis, prime, all star, soul vision, kryptonite hurts him, no wait! now it doesn't. He's the most overwritten character EVER! Second, what has he brought to the screen? Cartooons? Anime? Goku would wipe out the entire justlice league in a matter of seconds. Superman looks cool in comics, but any moron with a pin can say that. Despite how he is written i want you all to understand one simple reason whe he WOULD GET DECIMATED BY GOKU:
SUPERMAN CAN'T FIGHT!!!!! He'd never even touch Goku. Superman has a hard enough time juggling his secret identity! LOL When Goku was 9 he was saving the earth. Superman was just discovering his powers and trying to fit in school, and falling out of trees and breaking his arm. Goku is a way better fighter, and he is wayy more PURE in mind and in body. Superman was killed by Doomsday. Goku would annilihate Doomsday. Superman is nothing but an overwritten icon. Goku has been brought to life better through anime and movies. Not a paperback comic book where you flip pages and see what someone WROTE about him! Lol Goku once mediated for 3 days on a mountain preparing for battle. Goku is a martial arts MASTER! Superman can't fight! Here is how it would go down:
Goku powers up immediatly to his maximum power level, Instant Transmits in front of Superman, "KKKKAAAAMMEEEEHHHAAAMMEEEHHHAAA!!!!!!!!!" And blows a hole right through Supermans chest, out his back, and through his cape! 😎

Your opinion on comic books doesn’t affect the outcome of this battle at all. Goku gets owned by the Justice League, well actually Flash brats the crap out of him before the rest of the league even realize what happened. The Superman can’t fight argument is pointless as Superman is superior in almost every way. Superman can’t fight but someone like Jet Li obviously can, so does that mean that Jet Li is going to beat Superman in a fight? Does that mean Superman won’t even be able to lay a finger on Jet Li? An interesting assumption. Interesting but false. The only person who actually taught Goku martial arts is his Grandfather. His other masters taught him Ki techniques and how to improve his power level. Goku is good martial artist and a skilled fighter. Take away his powers though and Batman would beat him into the ground. He's good not that good.

One word, Pre Crisis Superman, no one can beat him, it is physically impossible for a character from an alternate universe to defeat him, that is just how he was written. He has sneezed away planets and travelled 4 Trillion light years in three seconds, (a light year being the distance that light travels in a year, 186,000 miles per second) and if you want to still argue that goku is more powerful, then just imagine if Pre Crisis Superman flew through the sun... he would be that many more times more unstoppable.
