You have to understand that both superman and GOku are great warriors and they never give up a fight also I LOVE Superman and Goku both,However it would also be a good fight because both of them are fast and storng and have there strong pointsI mean The enemys that Goku faced are preety storong as well as Superman's but I think it would be a fair fight
i think you guys are missing a key factor here. the kung-fu factor. granted supes is fast and a decent fighter but look at it this way; you put muhammid ali up against bruce lee and i betcha bruce wins everytime. sure ali was stronger and a great fighter but everytime him and bruce got into a sparring match lee handed him his butt. it wouldn't even be close (and this is true, bruce lee trained ali in martial arts before his passing)
speed and skill is key to victory, not raw brute strength.
all dbz characters are incredibly faster than superman and even flash. if you know your dbz material; in the first saga (the saiyajin saga) raditz, who is by no means a powerful saiyajin, could dodge beams of light (piccilo's special beam cannon). what makes you think supes is gonna even be able to hit any of these guys.
you could argue the invulnerability of supes but, we all know that he does infact get hurt if the attack is strong enough. and i do believe that the characters could indeed hurt superman.
and really on top of that the durablity of the dbz characters is quite up there. they get knocked through mountains and bulidings all the time. and the dbz characters strength levels are no laughing matter either.
remember the training rooms they go into. the levels of pressure in gravity would crush most beings in the dc/marvel universe. we're talking thousands upon thousands of pounds of pressure. if i recall correctly, i remember once seeing the training machine saying 100000gs, implying 100000 times earth gravity, and that was only midway into the series. dbz wasn't even finished yet. i'm not even talkin about GT.
i remember goku in just super saiyajin form training with 40ton weights on his legs and arms basically like it was nothing. throwing a barrage of kicks and punches faster than the eye could see, all the while training at 10 times earths gravity.
i hate to kick a dead horse in front of people who just aren't gonna agree but i really can't get my head around the whole idea that people would actually compare superman with dbz charactes!? honestly it baffels me.
i look at the comparison and i'm sorry superman just isn't on the same level as dbz characters.
i mean sure, he could probably take out the weaker earthling characters, ie. yamcha but to put him up against a saiyajin is just suicide.
and i've seen supes get rocked by some nasty energy blasts in the dc world i.e. darksieds omega beams, and afterall, a punch to the face isn't the only way to take someone out.
if you think that dbz's blasts are anything less...

I would point out that Superman has been trained by some of the DC universes best martial artists.

Superman has punched people thorugh planets. He's knocked wonderwoman halfway across the solar system with a single punch

The highest Gravity used in DBZ was 450. Supermans grappled with blackholes.

There was never any mention that gravity was anything other than Earth standard on that world. When Goku can move billions of tons he can be Superman's equal.

Despite its flaws I can still watch an old episode, or play some of the games, same can't be said for Superman returns or the games which disgust me.

The baby would be like superman but with cooler hair now weaknesses he wouldn't relay on that stupid sun for energy and kryptonite would make him feel dandy, and he could use instant transmission.
